The way the laser treatment works is that it fries the fuck out of anything it perceives as dark. A dark hair leading to a follicle with some dark pigment inside that the device can detect through light skin is needed for the process to work so it can destroy the follicle. It only works on fair-skinned people and then only on their dark hairs. Darkies can't get it done because it just burns their flesh, and aryan women can only get it done on very select areas due to most of our hair not being even remotely dark enough, even on the calves. Even tanned white people with black hair can't get it done, last I checked. There might be more than one method for laser hair removal or this version of it may have been improved on, but this is the only one I'm familiar with. Some buttfuck insane people use this method to "erase the appearance" of blood vessels, but that's a whole other kind of crazy.I get that shaving can be a pain, but there's shit like hair removal creams if you're that lazy.
Granted, AFAIK laser hair removal does require a small amount of hair growth prior to the procedure, I'm not wholly sure why, maybe so they know where to use the laser itself, but I doubt this person's going to be growing their beard out for laser therapy whilst still going out on dates.
That TIM looks like he should be an okay candidate for the procedure, I think- but it is still pretty expensive.
