Freezing eggs is so unreliable, it's almost a meme. Few survive the unfreezing process and those that do can be degraded, etc. Egg freezing has gotten increasingly popular among the Silicon Valley set as women push pregnancy out and out and out (and out) to make space for their career, but the evidence is catching up that - surprise, surprise - it's mostly a money-maker for the docs/cryo companies rather than an actual viable option. It's an expensive, awful process comparably to freezing sperm (which yes, are typically much more viable after unfreezing, but partly because there is just so gottdang many of the lil guys).
