Gavin is possibly my only favorite left in the AH crew. Jeff is too much of a broken man and I feel bad when I see him (an abused puppy sort of sadness), Michael was fine until Lindsay, Jack is a man child that is accidentally the worst of everything I hate about the left, Alfredo had potential until the Cali-Austin began to ooze to the surface. I might not agree on much of Gavin's opinions but at least he is willing to change views or has stayed consistent on the limited issues he's publicly spoken about.
While Matt might be some kind of Nurglespawn plague creature, I still think he's very entertaining and usually carries the videos he's in these days. Jeremy is also still great, but I expect him to show up less and less until he stops altogether.

Do you have any idea how fucking grating it is to look for this shit?

Cow Chop also had a podcast, CCTV.

Maybe they did it because they wanted to but honestly it kind of feels like having a podcast is a requirement for content creators/influencers these days.

They did it as a subscriber goal when they were trying to get to L.A. it did pretty decently, imo.

Fark, if Matt is the entertaining carry of the videos then they truly are fucked.

This is not off to anything resembling a good start. Most KSs get a good amount of their total funding in the first and last weekend, and with the first weekend through… it’s only past 10%. Unless intervention shows up from a bunch of terrible sites all not wanting a “lesbian short film” going unfunded, it’s very likely to be DOA.

I have no idea what she was thinking asking for twice what she made on her last campaign, and literally 4X the original goal of that one. Especially on a very different kind of film, the people genuinely backing because of the themes of Laundromat… probably aren’t that into medieval lesbians or whatever the shit they’re supposed to be this story.

Color me retarded but what filmmaking experience does Fiona have? I stopped watching AH consistently around the time she showed up so I know little about her outside of virtue signaling and being an unfunny addition to the team. So she doesn't strike me as the type to produce good content.

She once blew someone to get a film credit.

Looks like there are bringing back Ya Dead Ya Dead. Looks like they have no original ideas left. They fucked up the last two times the did it.
Even if it were good very few people would know. What's going to happen is that people are going to turn on the first video in the series, see that the player list has two or more people that they don't like, and immediately turn it back off.

She filmed a short film last year and released it. It fucking sucked. There was no passion from fucking anyone involved, the story was bland and unoriginal, and the entire project screamed "film student who's learned nothing" 's first movie.

And even saying "she filmed" is an overstatement. She sat in a chair and let the actual professionals phone it in.

Its not a requirement for anything. Its easy money for basically no work. Of course every money hungry influencer is doing them.
It does feel like adding another podcast to the lineup is their default reaction to low viewcounts.

Views down on everything? Add another podcast so you're at least guaranteed to get the views of diehard fans that watch all the content to bolster the numbers. Rinse/repeat

It's not for the views, it's because they can put five advertising slots into a two hour podcast, and can get advertisements to fill them because as pathetic as they are in [CURRENT YEAR +7] they're still RoosterTeeth. So they shit out a new podcast, get a six month or a year deal to run ball shaving, fake mental help, loan sharks or Raid Shadow Legends ads on them, get paid, and then when the advertisers see that the podcast has an average of twelve viewers, they don't renew for ads, and RT cancels it forever.

When did RT decline really start? Monty's death, Burnie leaving and so on have been events that sunk the ship even lower, but what was the starting point?
Hard mode: no "the foundation of RT"

Ray leaving was the start of AH declining, but I'd say the start of the decline for RT as a whole was when they never actually cultivated and nurtured new blood in their company and kept trying to bring in outsiders. This on it's own wasn't a problem, they had a massive and vibrant community full of talented individuals to poach talent from after all, but once they started antagonizing their own community it was over.
