You'd think with 1/4 of the planet's population spread across the Indian subcontinent they could muster 100K nerds? If you could pry them off of the chess sites first, that is. Strong initial attackers, no midgame though, zero vision of their own backlines. It's like they all learn the game from the same book.

I was going to say "maybe it's an internet access issue?" but then I remembered that Pakistan entering the Information Era and shooting up demand for incest themed porno out of the blue happened around the time VTubing was still nascent in gdgd Fairies and the like.

India doesn't have a big weeb presence. Vtubing outside of Japan relies heavily on preexisting weebs for success, especially at the beginning. Almost everyone who became a fan of vtubers in America, especially during the initial growth phase, was already into anime, manga, Japanese games, etc. India has weebs, but not as many as places like America or even the Philippines and Indonesia relative to its size. So there was no interest in vtubers. Combine that with a lack of promotion and Niji IN was dead in the water. Even today you don't see a big clipping scene in India nor do you see almost any vtuber superchats in Indian rupees, even though there are webcam streamers in India who make big bucks from SCs.

Ironically the most successful male of the lot, Vox, didn't have any affiliation to the industry. Showing that maybe hiring your friends from the vTuber space isn't always the right course of action.
I disagree with you here. While Vox is the most popular having hired a ton of people who have had experience/chemistry in the past with each other is an easier way for them to establish a sort of "family" feel. Sure this is something that could happen organically with a bunch of randos that have to work in the same place but having big group of people who already have that going is a sure way to keep that going with minor issues when new people get introduced into the group.

"Knows English, Japanese and Spanish"

Has the time come for me to apply and get insider information.
Fuck, I gotta work on my Japanese reps. Had I stuck to doing my reps back in 2013 I would've been somewhat fluent by now.

Imagine having a 2view failure from India be your manager? EN's management as a whole seems utterly imbalanced. Mysta says he's not allowed to share adult content, meanwhile Uki and Pomu are liking pics of them getting barebacked on social media. It's inconsistent.
Mysta has a huge Chinese audience and from what I can tell, he seems to be the 2nd most popular in the EN branch. I'm willing to bet that they are going for the "avoid R18 content" route so that he can also pull the younger (12-16) audience. As far as managers and their experience go, I don't think view-count means much. How often have you seen really good workers get promoted into a managerial position only to become shitty managers?

Absolute sweetheart.

You make a valid point, a lot of inept people do end up in power as seen with the recent Cyberlive nonsense. That said, they are Indian. I'd have trouble taking them serious with the tech support English.

Video of Mysta retweeting R18 content in front of management:

and some of the staff names in his live chat were Indian, which lends credence to the rrat that NijiIN — or at least Noor — simply assumed a managerial spot on NijiEN after graduating.
The names in the chat seem more like people who just happened to catch the accidental stream, but one of the voices at the end of the leak did sound like Noor. One of the girls did mention Noor interviewed her during an audition, but we didn't have anything physical up until then. I honestly hoped she'd revive as she said she would; she was really comfortable to watch, to the point I'd consider her one of my favorites, it was just hard to find a stream that wasn't Genshin.

Email them about it. I'm not their PR team.
Say what you want, everyone knows the truth about how Holo and Niji have wumaos that they pay in chicken tendies.

Well most of my reasons has already been said in this thread. So I'll just say that Kiara reminds me of an old friend that I have that is very talkative but good at heart.
She does give that vibe to me too sometimes. I also love her raging during games.
There's better clips but I love this one a lot.

I'm late lol. I watch several but I'm currently most invested in Lui. Very professional attitude towards Hololive and content creation but still undoubtedly qualified for Yagoo's House of Broken Girls.
I haven't viewed much from her but that leads me to a question. Do you know japanese? Cause I see a lot of people here watching JP vtubers, but don't know if they just have em on in the background and do understand them or do they still watch em without really knowing what they're saying till clipers translate some stuff.

Welp one more of this late asf cause I got home late, but I'm also pretty stuck in the camp of one is hard to pinpoint. I have a few I specifically ramble about around here, there's a separate few who hit my feels differently, and there's a few I adore but don't catch much of lol. I'll try to make it look less hideous and autistic with spoilers to chop the text.
I approve of your choices, even thought they're mostly gremlin and hags. A lot of people here seem to like MIo and I need to take a look at her to see why.

It's hard to pick favorites not just because I'm a drifter but because I can't dedicate enough time and effort to watch them flourish and grow. Also it's hard to pick favorites really. I'm pretty much late to the gay party eh?

Hey man nothing wrong with deliberating your enjoyment for your fav vchuubas! I can't really think of a vchuuba on top of my head at the moment that does dark edgy humor, I mean Pippa makes jokes near that but I wouldn't say she goes full on to them.

I think I would say my oshis are Ame and Ina. I love how Ame is creative with her streams. She is really funny. Ame is also very supportive of her genmates and other Holomembers. I also love her gremlin side, especially when she rages at a game. Ina is really gentle. Her streams are really chill and I love her puns.
I really love this clip of Ame during a bus sim stream.
She always is somehow funny during a boring thing like driving a bus.
Ina is the pun queen and I always love stupid dad jokes and puns.[/spoiler]

Nah, you can see that Fulgur and Co. are still responding to his volume checks with them without a problem.

It isn't until Jimmy hops in and asks if this is allowed that someone dives into the call and tells him to shut it down (it was Unlisted, but NijiMado catches Unlisted streams which is why no one was joining).

Wait, you're telling me she wasn't a total minecraft noob when she did this famous early stream? That makes it a lot funnier.
I remember seeing in one of the Senzawa videos that she made a lot of use of defensive dirt construction in combat, which I've only seen her do as Gura when she was trying to get blaze rods.

It's asking for translators with japanese/spanish skills to sub videos. Yagoo testing the waters for HoloES perhaps?

Edit: It's actually asking for what sounds like a full managerial position: scheduling, full localisations, hiring subcontractors ... plus it's not an online position, it mentions specifically being able to commute to the office as a requirement.
I can't believe HoloSPIC is happening.

Pack it up boys, it was fun while it lasted. No offense, Cubanodun.
