I don't think anyone is "trans" to be fair. I was just comparing two different trans-presenting performers, one of which is so broken it's funny, the other who actually had an impact outside of riding the wave, the very wave that SOPHIE helped popularise.

I brought up glam rock specifically because you could never do that today. The social contagion is too strong, you will be told you're trans just because you perform in outfits that push boundaries.

I'm also not going to buy anyone's word in that scene. Is it probably true he was trans for his own gain? I always bought it as transgressive performance, like the rest of his music. But if people are saying he wasn't, I'm incline to believe he is. These radicals eat their own, after all. Some people use a harness, so it's in position all the time. Sometimes you don't get a proper seal, so piss can leak out from the "balls" end, lol. It's recommended to clean it once a day, but some people rinse it under a tap every so often to keep it clean.

It gets worse though. Apparently there are DIY options. Here's one of them: -

These things (STP or “stand to pee” devices) were apparently originally made with a more funnel-like shape to make it easier for women who were camping and didn’t want to squat to take a leak. Leave it to these people to come up with more…deviant options.
