R: Svetlana, please, tell us about your dog.
Svetlana: This dog was born in 2013 and was placed into animal shelter as pedigree dog, but, sadly, war has doted the i’s and she was made , for the duration of the war, a working dog. She, when we was going into a bread factory to get bread, she, her mother and two of her sisters were severely wounded, and i was wounded there, they were covering me from shrapnel. When i heard the whistle of projectile, i order the dogs to lie down, they lay down, shrapnel started hitting my legs, i screamed, they could not handle that and started covering me and they were strongly torn by fragments.
