This is the most ridiculous example I've seen in a while of "banned for having the wrong opinion". And yeah, I agree, fuck scammers, but how were these posters to know what the "correct" opinion was? They could just as likely have been banned for starting the thread for "discounting concerns of poverty among marginalized people colonialist blah blah blah". I love how fucking random and Stalinist it is. It's like eveyone has to make non-commital statements at the beginning of a thread to see which way the wind blows before they can safely commit to a position.

I hate it when these people mention "support systems". A good "support system" doesn't do nothing but enable the person being supported's bad/destructive behaviors and habits, they guide the person on the right path to doing things that actually help them in the long run, like going to fucking school. His parents do follow Resetera's ideal version of a support system--they spoiled him by buying him $3000 VR gaming headsets, expensive headphones, and allowing him to skip school for weeks to do nothing but play minecraft and disrespect them.

The courts and the foster family are technically the only people doing anything to "support" this kid properly now since they've taken him out of his enabler environment and are working towards getting him back to school.

This framing is really smart and strangely insidious, this troon was "forced" to stay at home because the school wouldnt let him shit in the girls bathroom and ofcourse he would refuse the online class alternative that the school gave him and instead played minecraft online in protest of this horrible thing. The school left him with zero options, he HAD to stream minecraft instead of going to school in person and shit in the mens room or go to school online from his home and shit wherever he wants.

The school allowed the student to use the staff bathrooms. The student refused and chose to stay home so they could stream minecraft and chat on discord with an older troon lolcow. If you can't see the obvious genocidal fascist plot here you're one yourself. Do better.

In Soviet Russia, you'd have been put on a waiting list for five years and when you get your phone it weighs ten pounds, you have to lug it in a sack, and it has a lead-acid battery that weighs as much as the phone, and to use it from a car you have to install an antenna on the roof of your Trabant.

Honestly, not going to school is going to do more harm than good in the long run. Regardless of your situation, without a high school diploma it'll be harder for you to get a part-time job or work towards any kind of career. Twitch streaming isn't even a viable career. Years later, in your 20s, when you can't get into college, you'll have no one to blame but yourself.
