The right-wing has no interest any more in gay rights. Beyond it being on the periphery of the grooming shit their interest in the actual meat of gay rights is basically nil. It doesn't create an absolute barrier like abortion since unlike abortion it doesn't leave any lasting harm since its actions exist between consenting adults.
I'm sick and tired of hearing THIS line. "Consenting adults"? When the majority of the gay rights movement's pioneers were avowed pedophiles/pedo apologists? BULLSHIT. It's precisely because of the "consenting adults" myth that the "grooming shit" even exists.

GAYS REPRODUCE BY MOLESTING CHILDREN.

The Big One will be more Vietnam 2.0 than Civil War 2.0. It’ll be small insurgent cells destroying critical infrastructure and engaging in guerilla warfare.
You’re not wrong, especially if the right feels like they’re a bunch of hated exiles by the government .

What prices would petrol need to be to make the average American white invoke a Cat 4 chimpout?

I’d imagine at least 10 a gallon.

Does anyone else find it kind of creepy and unsettling how unconcerned the Biden administration is about all this? You'd think they'd be shitting themselves about a potential great depression part II but no, they're strangely calm.
Why would they be concerned? The only people that would be affected are us peasants. They can still enjoy their nice lobster dinners even if the masses are starving.

Honestly, I’m not because the left has made it perfectly clear that they’re fine living in their own separate society from the Trump supporters.

At this point, I'm not gonna interrupt them when they're making mistake after mistake.

Oh, look! UFOs!

The thing is, gas prices right now are just Obama prices. They're only like 10 cents more than Obama's peak and 50-60 cents more than most of his presidency from 2010-2014. So people are just used to these prices as much as they suck. The fact that prices were lower during Trump was more a fluke/reprieve.
The CPI is substantially higher, wages are declining (PPP adjusted), there is a war in Europe, and the political climate is staunchly more divided than back then. How “used” to prices can Americans get before they’ve had enough?

That being said, I really don’t really see it happening in the immediate future (e.g. before 2024). We’ll just have to see how that election goes, won’t we?
Adding on to this… short of Washington DC getting nuked and the entire chain of command disintegrated in nuclear hellfire, I don’t think we’re anywhere CLOSE to the threshold of secession even being raised as a possibility, much less actually being carried out.

The science community's equivalent of "the boy who cried wolf". I'd bet you, even if we got 4K HD footage of actual ayyyy lmaos, we'd still raise an eyebrow and go, "suuuuuuuure" or "OK, what are you trying to distract us from?"

We've already taken a ton of abuse thus far. What's a few more blocks on the pallet?

I think it'll be more like the American Troubles. Lots of uneasy peace, fear and loathing, and occasional flare-ups of violence.

The ayys will take one look at our anuses and realize we've been probed enough.

When the average American has to choose between feeding themself, their kid, or buying gasoline so they can work another week at some minimum wage job they're overqualified for, that's around the time bankers and politicians will be going for a swing from the lightposts.

I have studied too many small wars to think that there would be a successful America-scaled revolt without a large preponderance of structure.
So walk us through it. Let's say the right starts popping off and it escalates to regional conflict centered around Missouri (because it's central and a likely area of conflict). What does the left do to combat effective right-wing extremists?

Shit themselves and cry for the police and military and government to save them.

Honestly, 1/6 and Summer 2020 was the closest to insurrection we’re going to get for a while. There’s a long fuse at play. Longer than people think.

Antifa takes to the streets and then the Administration sends in the National Guard and then the military if things get really spicy. They’ve already implied how much they hate the GOP since MAGA became a thing.

I learned in 2020 just how much Americans can get "used to" if you just shout at them long enough.

I disagree. The RIGHT would be happy separating itself from the left. The LEFT wants full compliance and obedience.

These hearings are going to be boring and not reveal anything:

The other guy is Air Force and the Air Force hates talking about UAPs because of a mixture of institutional inertia and wounded ego. This is also bipartisian, the DoD has been keeping vital things regarding UAPs hidden from congress for 50 years and congress is pissed.

Playing devils advocate on my clarification: Podesta is super into UAPs/aliens and talks about them in leaked emails, Schiff is peak slimy Dem and if Podesta tells him to reveal the existence of aliens, he would do it no questions asked. The reason why I think this isn't the case is because they didn't call upon Luis Elizondo who advocates for full disclosure and who sparked this current period of interest into UAPs. Luis was initially attacked by the deep state when he came out and started talking but that's subsided.

If this happens (and even if it doesn't) they're definitely going to use an alien invasion psyop on us. They're so detached from the masses that they genuinely believe a "war of the worlds" scenario would cause mass fear/compliance.

Plus they have control of the media and law enforcement to stop any protest not approved by them and paint it as another "insurrection".

Meanwhile Brandon agreed with Senator Rick Scott saying Brandon should resign. Everyday it seems it's getting that he'll say the gamer word as he walks away.
