In a normal world I would say that is crazy, however given how the Whitmer Kidnapping Trial went with the glowies actually setting up a honey pot, and the fact that the FBI agent in charge of that operation got promoted to Washington DC before the trial, as well as the really iffy shit about Ray Epps not getting discovery performed on his phone...I kind of thing that Baked being a Glowie is more likely than not.

To be fair, he doesn't have to prove his innocence. The government has to prove his guilt. Which, they have the video he took of him doing those things. So, kind of moot. Plus, the Federal Government has something like a 99.6% win rate in court. Which doesn't bode well for him. US Prosecutors are stone cold professionals. They don't mess around. That they're willing to keep the plea open for 60 days even after he tried to throw them under the bus is actually really crazy.

So yeah, shut up when you are in court. Everyone but the lawyers and judge are to remain quiet unless directly spoken to AND requested to answer.

But the response then is either get someone good enough to prove you were being setup or take the plea deal when offered.

Two things I hold to be unequivocally true:
  1. The overreaction to the largely exaggerated goings-on of 1/6 is some of the gayest, unAmerican shit I have ever seen.
  2. The feds also have Baked dead to rights on what he is set to plea to. It is absolutely fucktarded to think otherwise in his situation. Isn't he borderline broke right now? If you want to go David vs. Goliath you need the biggest warchest and the deepest pockets you can find. Not whatever the fuck is happening here.

Oh this is exactly what I hoped for, Baked fucking up the plea deal and being forced to go to trial instead. Don't like that the prosecutors are leaving the same plea deal open for 60 more days, thou. He blew it and shouldn't be offered that deal anymore, if they have to give him a deal after this then give him a lower felony deal with only 2 years of prison time. Fucking up a plea deal must have stiff consequences, otherwise people can just do it again and again, running out the clock.
