The Adam Friedland show / cum town

There's moments of hilarity, but by and large the podcast is boring and unfunny.

It sucks, because last year all my friends discovered it and instead of just watching clips like sensible people they listen to the actual podcast and anytime we go anywhere they want to listen to the whole ass podcasts on the way there.

Following on from the Sam hyde thread, I went and listened to the ct ep that featured Nick Rochefort and it was the liveliest ep Ive heard in a while.
Stav is a fuckin drain on the show and its obvious his only contribution is HUEHUEHUE and plugging his stale comedy till he gets adopted by his west coast champagne socialists. Sick of that fat cunt stepping on bits and singing the same old parodies.

New cumtown listeners think Adam is the shitty one, but he's the comic straight man and plays it well.

Stav is funny in a juvenile way at first, which I'm fine with, but after 50 episodes of "You're gay. your dick is small. pussy. getting head." you realize this is really all he does. He could easily be replaced with a recording.

It's also funny on the rare occasions they voice an actual opinion Stav outs himself as a dipshit and Nick will usually call it out.

Stav: "Well, you know, freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences."
Nick: "Yes it does, that's literally exactly what it means."
Stav: "Oh yeah, I know, but uh, I mean... y'know..."

The ep with Rochefort had a good flow to it, felt very natural, you’d think this was the podcast the whole time. Rochefort was funnier than most of the professional comics they've had guest over the years. All they need is a good replacement for Stav and things go well. I wasn't as annoyed with Halikos as others were but he has proven himself to be extremely insufferable these past two years.

I’m sick of hearing that his stand-up is great. He just giggles fatly on stage and makes the most obvious jokes; “People in Portland don’t have real jobs” tier comedy. His "self depracating" humor where he leans into how fat and slobby he is just as obvious as his other jokes, all to pretend he isn't a a thin-skinned baby-man whose ego is easily bruised - his "I'm fat but cute" schtick is paper-thin and overdone.

There was one episode where Stav was talking about how it's okay to punch, deplatform, and imprison people who hold white supremist views and Nick asked him if the same should happen to black groups that hold black supremist views and Stav immediately folded and admitted he was wrong. Stav's opinions are literally Twitter blue-checkmark tier.

They should honestly just get a guest for every episode. It forces them to actually make conversation and not be lazy faggots who make too much money.

The best part of Cumtown was always the clipping channels. Unfortunately, one of them was stupid enough to show the YT revenue they were making off of other people's content (RE: true crime podcast money). After this a large but stagnant Vietnamese YouTube channel suddenly rebranded to Cumtown clips and DMCA'd a bunch of the channels off the site. One of the "theories" is that Nick Mullen bought the channel and used it to wipe them out.

The difference between the clipping channels and the actual podcast is night and day.

Not sure how they managed to do that
