There are a few species of fish that change gender. Common in the wrasse family of fishes and a few others. The California sheephead being a prime example. It's also noted that some may change gender multiple times in their lives. Also noted, not all of them change gender. Some do, some don't.

What other animals do is irrelevant. Some types of fish can change sex. They can also breath underwater so by trans logic humans all have functioning adult gills.
