In fact, that is EXACTLY what I think. The talking heads will be able to sell months worth of ad space over this, so it makes sense to talk about literally nothing else for as long as possible.

So naturally, glorifying these deeds in order to encourage more of them means you get to sell more ad space in the future. On steroids.
