Charity stream that Pippa's going to appear on is starting:
While National Alliance on Mental Illness has pretty low administrative expenses for a charity, something like 6%, they have been accused of being shills for the pharmaceutical industrial complex in the past.
Not sure how good they are now.

Pretty funny to see the goal met within just a few minutes.

I don't trust any charity, but I won't rag on others who do.

Noice.

no, just NEET culture - it's a meal for someone who is too lazy to eat one.
Calorie Mate is pretty popular in Japan in general as something to eat before doing exercise or going somewhere. Given that she seemed to have grown up in Japan to some extent and is/was athletic, it doesn't surprise me if that's just a thing that never went away.

I remember wanting to post this clip the last time "Gura's real voice" came up but I didn't back then, but I feel like she kinda drops it here at around 0:46
Does she have a filter on top of her audio?
No. Gura's voice is entirely real, though pitched up slightly due to her mic settings (unintentional). She deals with being confused for an actual child for a reason. She sounds like one and literally looks like one. Squeaky midget syndrome.

I mean that would be great but we're talking about corpos. Idk any corpo (and I mean any kind of industry, not just vtuber/idol/entertainment) that would do mandatory health checkups without it being some kind of regulation or industry standard. The best the talents can do is like what @Scuttle said, identify what the issues are and pick a solution. Suisei recognized that her juice drinking was okay, but the acidity of OJ (it was OJ right?) wasn't doing much good for her and apple juice was a better choice. It's gonna be shit like that.

And sometimes, its just the shitty roll of genetics. Stream and sing for hours and hours? No problem. Have an extra small side of fries? Time for the oil and salt to destroy everything in your vocal chords. And vice versa.

EDIT:

totally blanked out on Suisei dropping her voice too. Eventually it just becomes natural that you forget how they all previously used to sound. Could be thinking of IRyS since someone just mentioned how her songs make it tough on her voice.
Marine paid for expensive medical consultation and advice regarding her vocal cord nodules and in the end it turned out she was already doing everything exactly right to take care of her throat, there was nothing else she could do but take a break and cut way down on streaming. Sadly it doesn't seem to be something there's any easy solution to. Aki opted to have the nodule surgery and it went well and she's been doing fine since. Lui who I wouldn't really describe as a high pitched anime voice type is also beginning to suffer from it as well. I don't know how Koyori and Korone survive

Pippa live now

Rita is too kind for this world to have this Yabbit on

Edit: Ok, Pippa was a really good choice for this as she is talking directly to a distinct subsection of people. Good job Rita and Pippa.

More edit: Meruru is a nice person and is a good example to bounce off of Pippa. Pippa was very direct in her advice and also in general impersonal vs. a general "let's do better together" vibe of Meruru. That offhand mention of her father committing suicide tho.

If people are having vocal issues now, does that mean Towa and Kson both use their natural voice? Their voices hurt me with how strained they sound, it doesn't seem natural,
Towa sounds like that in real life as well. She just has a fairly nasally voice. kson... is more difficult to figure out. She does sound a bit different when she first started streaming back in 2016, which is a long time ago. But that could just be because she's nervous. Ina's voice early on was quite different early on too when she was lacking confidence. I don't think it's an age thing considering she was already 27ish at the time.

Kson definitely sounded stiffer and spoke much worse Japanese back in the earlier days. She does speak Japanese up-pitched moreso than when she speaks English, but aside from that she speaks pretty normally as Kson, but kinda adds a pouty voice.

All these streams today have finally confirmed why Null hates this thread. It isn't the occasional borderline pedo or the obsessive faggotry... It's all these women being tiny, underfed (Enna is sub 100 lbs apparently), and eating weird abominations in place of food. As a feeder it must keep him awake at night knowing all these women out there will never achieve their perfect corpulent form and he doesn't have the time or resources to fix it.
