Like, I don't want to be a dick to people trying out a new thing in public, but most people: 1) demonstrate some humility (ie "I'm just starting out plz be nice") and 2) aren't doing a new thing every few weeks.

Really a lot of people believed Ex was talented in multiple ways when she first started posting her vids. Now that I think about it I can't recall her ever mentioning "materialist analysis" or any similar language in her explanations of sex class. Sierra's background in gender studies means that her political and philosophical understanding of the world BEGAN with postmodern thought. She didn't start with the search for universal truths, she started with the assumption that there are no universal truths. She probably never spent time on modernist thought before moving on to postmodernism, which means that since her peaking she has been working backwards from the shaky foundation of postmodernism to justify her radfem positions. I'm a bit late but I will try and fill in the gaps between the fall of Rome and radfem distrust of Arty Morty.

I remember when the initial feud between Arty Morty and radfems begun brewing. It was Linehans podcast episode with Blanchard in which Arty Morty and Linehan sucked this eminent mans dick whilst Helen sat their bemused. The men took over the conversation and it was very sympathetic to AGPs and no hard questions were asked of Blanchard. Blanchard even stated that it was women who were enabling a lot of this.

I think this episode woke up a lot of women up to the fact that whilst a man may understand what's happening on one level - they really dont get it on another one. Or maybe they do but they just dont care or want to cede the stage for women to talk.

Due to the chummyness which arty showed towards Blanchard and AGP apologia radfems started to be more skeptical of him. The pedophile apologia came from Arty Mortys twitter profile which used to have "Hadrian + Antinous" in it. I see this has now been removed and it just says "likes Roman history".
