I agree to an extent. He did want to kill people, obviously. But the manifesto that was long from the outside and literal garbage if you actually read through it felt purposeful. Streaming it too? He wanted attention. Be it as a glowie op or just a kid who wanted to rage and make his name known.

I'm still stuck on the manifesto really. Why publish it? It was literally written like someone had made an AI go thumb through general white supremacy memes and surface garbage and compile it into a document. It felt considerably more detached than other manifestos, too. Comparing it to other killers there's something missing from it that makes it feel human and that's why I'm suspicious. If you look at history, multi ethnic countries simply never last. Even multi cultural ones seem to always fall into conflict, like Yugoslavia or pre-trianon Hungary.

There’s some merit to this claim but I don’t think multiculturalism is bad. I think there needs to be some sense of unity between the constituting groups. There are many examples of relatively successful multicultural countries such as Singapore, Switzerland, etc. However in the United States, unity on ethnic/racial lines is eroding everyday.
