If you read his ramblings, he thinks his actions (and presumably others doing the same) will cause politicians to over-react, and the backlash from that overreaction will cause our current "hedonistic individualist" culture to completely fall apart, presumably via civil war and violence and power vacuums and such which will then give rise to a puritan? collectivist? society (he didn't really specify ideologies here, presumably the opposite of hedonistic individualism is what he's after since he wants white people to kick out immigrants and fuck like rabbits for procreation, putting the needs of the collective "white race" above individualistic pursuits of pleasure).

Basically, from what I understand, he used all the things the current left is pushing to ban in the attack to get them to overstep and try to ban all the things and begin overtly controlling speech.

He is correct that said politicians will use what he did to try and ban shit and crack down on free speech, but that probably won't actually fly due to the makeup of the senate and the (probable) incoming red wave. Not to even mention if it did work, and we did devolve into violence, the side he doesn't want to win would probably win because that's who the CCP would back.

I think there's a case to be made for the negative effect desensitizing yourself to photos and videos of crime like this. I doubt they do it anymore, but a lot of my early military training was being sat in a classroom and shown non-public personal videos from combat set to the most popular Nu-metal songs of the early 2000s. I get that it's gross, but there are some people in your society that you want desensitized to this kind of stuff. Police, EMT, military, etc. You can't have a cop showing up to an active gunfight and going catatonic at the first split open head they see.

That being said, the animal abuse stuff disgusts me as much as the human shit probably should.

The manifesto looks like absolute glowie shit, however it contains his full set of information and plans prior to his attack.
