To be fair, at least Pat abandoned his daughter to a hung hunk who he knew would be the actual tough guy, loving father and great provider Patty could only dream of being. I hear you, but it can always get worse. Like losing a house, going through a second divorce etc. I can see these things being a realistic consequence of his behaviour. May take some time, but he isn't rock bottom yet. Don't get me wrong, he's definitely on the shit tier of whatever scale is used to measure his stupidity.
