Yeah, it's obviously bad to smoke while pregnant, but even a doctor — not, historically, big fans of cigarettes — recognized that going cold turkey wasn't an option. Tony obviously knew that his wife had cut back drastically on smoking while pregnant, but still harangued her to the point where a doctor had to intervene to stop his treatment of her. Chalk another one up to the "troons = misogynistic abusers in waiting" board.

They mistake a child's unquestionable belief in their parents to tell them the truth for understanding and acceptance. I could tell a five year old "the sky looks blue because our eyes can't see that shade of green, but it's really green" and the next day they'd be telling the whole kindergarten class about how the sky is really green, because mommy (or aunt) said so!
It's like a whole bunch of adults all decided to convince very young children the sky is green and anyone who tells them otherwise is a bigot. But at the same time they say they have no agenda behind this green sky lie, no one really thinks the sky is green unless they themselves see that it's green, and kids are smart enough to understand the truth for themselves and make up their own mind.
It's fucked up.

You could easily go through and refute each of the points he makes, but it's the right combination of we-just-want-to-pee-stop-oppressing-us that it is across the ocean, sitting in your social timeline like particularly fetid shit, before you've even thought about lacing up your boots.

The court records for the county are paywalled and like @Geranium I don't feel like paying $25 to get some troon's criminal record. Anyone who's got some cash to flash and an autistic desire to find the exact dates and other court proceedings, have at it. The article says that he was on felony probation so obviously he pled down to avoid big-boy jail. So despite having two drug-related arrests on his record (misdemeanor possession, and felony sale of counterfeit controlled substance), he never saw hard time and is now pushing for trooning kids via chemo drugs. Fantastic work, Tony.
I was going to make a comment about a convicted felon voting, but apparently Maryland is one of the states that returns your right to vote once your sentence is completed. What a delightful world we live in. Has Tony ever posted about voting on Twitter or Reddit? Do we have any photos of Tony with a stiff, thin-lipped smile and a triumphant "I voted!" sticker?

If you sell a guy a bag of flour but claim it's drywall, you get charged for fraud. This includes time wasted and lying about what a money transaction is for.
If you sell a guy herion but it's a harder drug that could harm someone or lead to death if taken, you don't get off the hook for selling them something you claimed was heroin. You still assisted in the consumer's death by giving them a substance they didn't know the side effects of.
These laws are there to protect drug users as much as they are to punish them, essentially.
