Things were improving for them before the father got removed from the black family."Look man I'm not going to spend hours writing up a fucking essay with citations for you."
Okay so I'm just going to assume you made that shit up then.
"The black community in the US has been fucked since the drug war began, dope took the men in the 70s and early 80s and crack took the women in the late 80s and early 90s, though you could easily say that the seeds were sown during the 1960s. There is no families to raise the kids properly and every single black kid that succeeds does it in spite of the black community, not because of them, they manage to pull themselves out of that hellhole through sheer force of will while a dozen or more crabs try pulling them back down into the bucket."
I feel like you had a great start going, then you veered off. I ask you, with the knowledge in hand that ghettos were always ghettos, and were always meant to be ghettos, what do you expect from the people who've spent generations in these areas? To magically become doctors and lawyers? You expect most to become exemplars that beat the odds? As for the last part, I'm not sure if you're speaking from experince or someone's anecdotal experience but I can't really argue an overgeneralized stat.
"
Also before you try that whole "oh ur just a racist" shtick, no, I get along great with older black people, its the kids that grew up in the era gangster rap and that I can't fucking grok because they're so self destructive, they're touched in the head in a way that I just don't want to deal with, I keep my distance because hanging around such people for long periods of time just gets you into their troubles as well and you start emulating them."
OK well I don't think you're racist for not wanting to hang around people that are self destructive but if you assume all younger black people that listen to "gangsta rap"are like that then that's definitely prejudice.
They did try to invent something incriminating with the "look at this blurry photograph that might as well be a UFO sighting for how easy it is to make out what's happening, he's clearly pointing his rifle" shit.Bit of both, really.
The only way he was getting convicted was if the evidence was disregarded, or something incriminating was invented. The prosecution were laughably incompetent, but they did basically have nothing to go on.
