Ok. now he's made a threat, so that's something they can act on, without Yaya's consent. And anyway, she sounded pissed in her last tweets, so maybe she will have him arrested for something. He's a black dude in a southern state. If they want to arrest him, they'll find something to charge him with. If he stays calm, he might skate, but cops are very good at getting suspects to chimp out, and use that as evidence against them. We'll see.

I mean, if someone assumes all anime fans are like Akemi here, they're probably a moron anyways, so I'd just ignore them and not make what TV shows I watch such a major part of my identity that I get offended when people who share my interests do bad things. There are shitty people everywhere in every group, after all, it's not worth getting butt-blasted about.

On a more relevant topic, I'm curious as to what will happen with the police visit. I'm kind of torn - has Akemi ever followed through with any of his threats? I kind of wonder if he and Yaya aren't just major drama whores who blow minor disputes into massive issues, and Akemi just spews his tough-guy act all over the internet while he just bitches about stuff in real life, so it'll probably be nothing. On the other hand, I'd love it if he got a lady cop who took him seriously and he got in massive amounts of trouble. Ooh! Or maybe the whole visit is fake, and the tape will be some friend of Akemi's in a cop costume pretending to question him. Though that's unlikely, given that it would require Akemi to have friends in the first place.

Either way, I kind of doubt the tape will actually materialize. :(

Watch him actually record this, and get his ass thrown in jail. The only record we'd get would be from Yaya, and from I've been reading she doesn't sound like she could put it up.

If he doesn't get thrown in a police car, I can't wait to hear about how the tape was corrupt or some such bullshit.

I think that we should just assume that he was raped and murdered in prison if we never hear from him again

I didn't even think twice about the tape. Of course there will be no tape. Akemi accomplishes nothing, ever.

I most certainly hope he does try to record it, but given how much we know he likes bailing out on things, it's somewhat unlikely to be edgy enough for him- or possibly too edgy.
Either way, seems doubtful he'll actually follow through on the recording, specially if they try to see his online footprint/posts about violence/etc
