Speaking as a born kangaroo humper, Australian Internet laws are facing a similar thing to the net neutrality. It’s actually quite scary, Australia is additionally trying to enforce a law that forces VPN companies to disclose logs. We have an election currently going and it seems as if the Labour Party will win, which are CURRENTLY against these laws. They are also currently passing a law that allows the government to access your account without a court order. I am currently drinking but will update this post with links and references shortly.

More importantly, when the fuck are they going to legalize marijuana. I bet if a party supported that all the freshly 18 year olds would pump that shit. Fuck free speech / non monitored internet, we want bongs, and that’ll be the downfall of Australia. It’s fucking scary, that’s why I fucked off out of the country.

This is from the Rupert Merdoc, so fuck him but here.

Still ongoing: Google V Liberal Party

Still ongoing: Encryption laws

This one is vague as hell but getting any information regarding Australian laws here is fucking hard as shit until its passed. Fuck the media.

The Aussie government *has always been overcome with the tard! God help them!
Fixed that for you, mate.

This is bullshit. How this could be considered remotely in our jurisdiction is beyond me. Any money you like this is a prelude to a permanent all ISP country wide ban of KF. Null, you were way too polite with those dingoes.

God, they are getting desperate. The current Government is 3 days away from an election where they are likely to lose badly and are doing anything they can to be relevant, and scare people into voting for them. Watch Australian Media with either Peter Dutton, Josh Frydenberg, or Scott Morrison talking about how you need to vote for them to stop "online harrassment". IMO this is a headline grab where they scapegoat the farms in order for the to come out on the front foot about cyber-security and how the opposition will be weak in "protecting children online".
So, would be a good time to land all Aussie IPs on a page explaining that their access has been curtailed by the current government that they're about to vote over keeping or ousting.

Do they think somebody is actually going to read that 180 page manifesto, say "well, he's got some good points" and go do some crimes in Australia?
Bro, they made zombies illegal because they think it inspires real life violence. Novel length manifesto? Motherfuckers look at that and see 'A Song of Ice and Fire" written in white supremist. Australia's government is somehow more retarded than other commonwealth countries, period.
