This whole situation seems very similar to Gura and her chumbuds. Gura wasn't exactly at fault here, since she kind of broke the vtuber sphere and spread out to more normie circles who have no idea about common etiquette. But I admittedly have no clue about what Vox did to have such a rampant moronic fanbase. Is it possible that it's just the fujo equivalent?Seems another anti-kindred post is making the rounds on twitter again, this time from an Ike fan (with fans of nijiEN-connected livers mostly agreeing in the comments too)

Thread because I'm not screenshotting all of this.
Shoto's statement mentioned in the tweet (full version here, warning: LONG)
TL;DR (both from the posts + comments):
People are just now catching on that Vox's chat are a bunch of degens that can't even control themselves in other people's chats and let their liver collab with anyone they want. Vox has apparently had to avoid doing certain type of collabs with other livers because of disapproval from kindreds and kindreds were shown to be very ignorant of other people's chat rules, suspected to be caused by Vox's chat being more lenient towards degeneracy and his lack of properly addressing the issue without beating around the bush. So, people are trying to push for Vox to actually address the issue with his audience properly instead of folding midway like last time.
Personally, I doubt Vox is gonna address this anytime soon, or at least be able to properly address this in a way that's both (A) satisfying to people and (B) vague enough that it doesn't cost him his hardcore fujos, though I doubt he can pull of the second one. He has to do one way or the other, he's gonna have an upset party either way.
Also semi-unrelated observation, but I think it's funny how a lot of the thread replies are in broken english. Is there a way to check how many of Nijisanji EN's viewers are from asia?
I was thinking this, but lord knows if I mentioned Gura myself it'd be considered deflective tribalism. This whole situation seems very similar to Gura and her chumbuds. Since I can only think of a single person in this thread who watch Vox regularly, I would like to raise him so he could give us an expert perspective on the subject.Seems another anti-kindred post is making the rounds on twitter again, this time from an Ike fan (with fans of nijiEN-connected livers mostly agreeing in the comments too)

Women are crazy. Fujo's are crazier. Chinese Fujo's? Hoo boy. This whole situation seems very similar to Gura and her chumbuds. I see. Are these ... 'engineers', in the room with us right now? Do they ... say things? Things that perhaps make you uncomfortable?Even Mysta, who this thread spent 4 pages yesterday trying to engineer some kind of drama about

Shut the fuck up tribalfag.I was thinking this, but lord knows if I mentioned Gura myself it'd be considered deflective tribalism.
It's very reminiscent of the early Cumbuds who were on Fubuki's MC stream telling her Gura beat her to 1m or when Iofi/Roboco/Suisei got attacked after Among Us.
I get a sentiment, particularly with Luxiem, that the fans have a much higher sense of virtue regarding 'protecting the NijiEN community'. They recognise that there's a super problematic sect of fans that is damaging the culture and are more keen to try and make a stink in an attempt to stomp it out.
I don't like that it exists, but I also don't oppose trying to force Vox's hand into telling them to fuck off. Even Mysta, who this thread spent 4 pages yesterday trying to engineer some kind of drama about, spent a chunk of his stream yesterday tard-wrangling the fans annoyed he hasn't solo-streamed much since the off-collab.
Looking at the past, Gura never really addressed most her fans' shenanigans. Yet her fanbase behavior have improved a lot, or at least whatever issues you have with them are only contained in her own chat and does not impact other's.This whole situation seems very similar to Gura and her chumbuds. Why? He's right: cumbuds were (and still are to a degree) insufferable but at least they tard-wrangled each other into not letting their shit spill outside. Now the situation is repeating with Vox and his own bunch of autists - it'll be interesting to see if they follow in the footsteps of their predecessors.Shut the fuck up tribalfag.
Stop inserting Hololive into a clearly Nijisanni issue
Missed vast majority, it was 5 am when it ended and I woke up in time to see 15 min. So glad I woke up, it was wonderful. CONGRATS to Kiara for getting to off-collab with someone. The gift exchange was very cute. So sweet of Kiara to get her a dirndl, same for Reine getting Kiara a bracelet. And it seems we might get some spicy stuff later. The vacation continues, it's only the beginning. LET'S GOOOO.Reine and Kiara streaming from the Honeymoon suite.
I believe I joined this thread to provide info on Mano Aloe, which would have been prior to both of those events in like, what, August 2020?What's the best way to do a poll in this thread? I'm curious about when everybody started following vtubers here. I'd guess even the vast majority of the regulars here started after myths debut or the Taiwan incident
Based on what people here talk about, I don't actually think most regulars started after those events. Granted, I started after Council's debut and I didn't watch their debut streams. What's the best way to do a poll in this thread? I'm curious about when everybody started following vtubers here. I started lurking around Myth's debut but joined much later. What's the best way to do a poll in this thread? I'm curious about when everybody started following vtubers here. I'd guess even the vast majority of the regulars here started after myths debut or the Taiwan incident
Actually possibly spoke too soon. Update:Personally, I doubt Vox is gonna address this anytime soon
