Simple, people remember him in his entertaining persona, forgetting abuse part of that same persona because he was whining on social media for so long, that his most loyal fans and orbiters feel sorry for him. Again, that's all fine and dandy, but to feel sorry for lazy asshole like Spoony, who abuses everything and everyone who tries to help because he was always a consistent first class a-hole to his audience. It just shows how much selfesteem most of them have or just how much Stockholm Syndrome they suffer from.
