I can't help but think that Robyn is more than a little miffed about everyone getting an unfiltered look at her family. (Well, it's still filtered in that the photoshoots and filming are doubtless highly curated but you all know what I mean). She only made one post about it and hasn't even pointed people to the full half-hour video on Vimeo. You'd think a narcissist like herself would relish the chance to share such a thing. Something in there she doesn't like, I guess. She could just be waiting for some special time to share it where she thinks she'll get more engagement but I doubt it.

ETA: Maybe she did promote the interview somewhere else and I just missed it. I also noticed that the photographer doesn't seem to be promoting the film though I might well be missing something there too. Also possible that I am just obsessing over the small detail of filters but then again Robyn seems to be doing so as well.

It might have something to do with his parents not talking to him like a normal person, they babytalk the same way they do with Luna:
"Hiiiiii, Looona-Booonah!"
"Good jaahb, baybeee!"

I only hope he's picking up real vocabulary when Luna-Buna's therapists come over.

Plus, little man is only 15 months old or so. He'll start forming words soon.

I was going to say, neither of them seem to talk to Atlas as much as they should or Robyn simply doesn't show it because it's nowhere near as important or interesting as Luna being manhandled by random women.

Maybe this is me being ridiculous but I'm pretty sure Atlas kisses and touches Luna mostly because that's the ONLY time he gets an outwardly positive/vocal reaction from Robyn.
Kids aren't stupid, he knows that touching ''sissy'' equals praise and attention that he needs/wants.

It's pretty fucking depressing.
Poor sod doesn't get a look in unless it's an awkward breastfeeding photo.

That's such a great observation. It's so unfair because he's such a bright and promising little boy but so underappreciated. His potato sister gets all the love for just taking up space while he has to earn it...

He gets positive reinforcement for kissing Luna, and probably a neutral response for doing anything age appropriate. Not one bit of fanfare about his early walking.

I don't think his speech is late yet, but Robyn talks to him through the camera. He appears to know where the lens is, and looks at that, as opposed to his mother's face when she's talking.

He's aware that the camera is what needs to be looked at and performed for. Just like Mom does.

He's going to be one alienated kid, because this won't stop with Luna's death. Dare I say he'll be at risk for addiction or being groomed by someone who pays attention.

Atlas is still well within normal range for talking. As others have pointed out, it's not surprising he's a bit slow with it due to how little his parents seem to actually talk to him. Yes he's hearing them talk, and the TV, the therapists and whoever else he may encounter, but for a learning baby it's not enough. On the same token, it's not surprising that he was advanced in walking due to effectively being in pt hab his whole life, since narc mom has always enjoyed thrusting him into the middle of pt so that they can act as his babysitter.

But for the curious, I just did some surface level research, and as long as he was producing single syllables by 10 months and (especially) didn't lose the ability to babble once he started, he's in the clear. And to be honest, we don't know how far along he is (or isn't) with talking given how little his mom shows or cares about him. I mean, look at how she reacted to his learning how to walk. Although we might hear about it when he learns how to say "Luna". Hell, maybe narc mom is waiting for his first "Wuna" so that she can pretend it was his first word regardless if it was or not.
