It will never get that bad, the Trump threads always get inflamed because of how politically relevant the man was and still is to a point. You get pissed off people from both sides, but it's not like we are a QTard or SJW central to begin with so we are fine. There are some trolls and other less savory individuals every now and then, but the tone in general is quite nice!
There is also a point where almost everybody shits on VShojo, it helps in keeping people united lol!

Gura mentioned parent-teachers conferences when she was little. Said the teachers thought there may be something wrong with her because she had a very high reading level, but she also sometimes wrote words backwards.
It's interesting to me because I'm very curious about Gura's mind. She certainly has a unique perspective and way of expressing herself. I've vaguely wondered about her ever since I first noticed senzawa and wondered how something so strange could be so widely appealing.
Gura isn't an idiot, she is just very scatterbrained. She has good charisma and chemistry with her audience and knows what she can and can't do, an idiot would fuck up much worse than she does, and much more regularly. Her thinking style is like a loaded machine gun going off randomly, sometimes she hits the targets precisely and at others she misses targets that are right by her. She might simply have troubles in connecting her train of thought to her speaking and writing rhythms!
I watched a fair bit of Kizuna Ai (I'd never really enjoyed "lets plays" before that) but that gradually fell by the wayside, I'd say I only properly got into vtubers after reading about the Taiwan incident; followed Coco and Haachama and it grew from there.
Came here more recently because I just got tired of the way other places handle the kayfabe thing. I'm not even super into drama, I just want somewhere to have vtuber fan discussions where we can be honest about Kiara being keekihime or whoever rather than the obnoxious hint culture.
Then I caught up on the thread and realised my favourite these days is a hated coomertuber (Nihmune), so I mostly stuck to lurking.
It gets annoying at YouTube when you have open secrets, like Coco being Kson yet you still get some fucking retards trying to protect the identity of a dead character as if they didn't know who she is. Sometimes it gets to the point where you can see they are more attached to the character than to the woman behind the curtain, considering it would benefit her if people kept supporting her after she left her old identity behind. Purism is a bitch!
