ETA: why is their judaism "political"? Being Christian is a fundamental aspect of Anna Johnson, and so it's for this family, even when people won't talk about it much. They're a very basic Jewish family when you think about it.

Growing up, Jeanette probably had the "alpha fucks, beta bucks" strategy used by many toxic women. Beta males and the women who abuse them exist across all cultures and races, though their tactics change if there are arranged marriages and strict rules for women. Jeanette slept with all the confident chads when she was young. Then a few years before the wall hits, shacked up with a wealthy nerd who could be taken to the cleaners in a divorce. Jeanette even said herself that she considered Greg to be a zero when they were teenagers, and then he passed the bar had a glow up.

As for why she had to troon out her son instead of just cucking Greg and taking his money, I have no clue.
Also Tinder is the last place Sander should be looking for love. The rating algorithm will bury him. He's such a beta that his eyes and smile give it away in pictures.

Well said on the first part; I have nothing to add. For this part, Jeanette could have left but the family would have hated her, because it would reveal to her offspring what a selfish cunt she is. The kids would feel worse for dad I think, and their sympathies would be with him over her. But she can have Greg's money without sleeping with him or revealing her narcissistic nature through divorce. The sexual liberty of divorce would be wasted on a woman who's through the wall by a country mile. I imagine she has more sexual opportunities with her kids peer groups, and as discussed, Greg isn't rocking the boat or he has nothing, and the network isn't either. If they had standards they wouldn't be there filming.

Why would anyone think Jeanette would want to leave Greg? Do you even watch the show? They're perfectly matched and perfectly happy together... She gets the money and the man, so why divorce?

Amusingly in that last TikTok you can see Sander has given his brother the t-shirt he got from his short lived stint as a Bumble ambassador. He really does come across special needs in these videos (especially the vacuum one). Trying to use the TikTok voice over to narrate over him talking into the camera was a real big brain move for a digital marketer as well.

He's the poster boy for toxic positivity - rather than saying "I'm single and lonely, and that sucks", it's "me being single is a joke, hahahaha but also actually it's really great to be single and it's really inspiring I'm not having to conform to societal expectations". Instead of going "Yeah I am getting kinda chunky, which is messing with my plan to be a thirst trap fitness influencer" it's "You can have any body you want and be happy with it, any one can make fitness videos". Refusing to engage properly with negative emotions and then plastering on a big old smile is actively sabotaging him. I can only assume it's deeply rooted from having to pretend everything with Jazz was great when it very clearly wasn't.
