It genuinely feels like they're making shit up as they go along, wasn't that insanely dangerous Darby vs Jeff match just a PRELIM match?
I don't think we even had brackets revealed until like last week or so since they started this thing. And Jeff Hardy vs Darby (another "dream match" that was bafflingly a last minute prelim in this tournament) was the only one where they just gave it an Anything Goes stip.
If I remember right, I think Dax and Cash asked to have that match, something about how they wanted to do it without having to do an “FTR Splits Up” story.
Imagine sending Maki Itoh to AEW when you have any or all of UUGP.
