Since they've been desperately eating the place to the ground and probably eating plants below the soil line, the meat would probably be nearly inedible and bitter, and so lean you'd die of malnutrition if you tried to eat nothing but it.

Colorado requires a 91 day notice period for eviction for a tenant that's lived at the property for more than 1 year. If the tenant doesn't move out by the end of the 91 day period, then the eviction process can continue. It can be pretty hard to evict people, even when there's no lease and they're not paying rent. Even then, Sky is an owner. It's a legally complicated situation. Fat Paul is swinging his micropenis around and can't actually do anything about it.
Boner could convert the property into a rental, in theory, but in reality he would need to spend $$$$$ he doesn't have to haul off garbage, get rid of animals, rehabilitate the main house, and get rid of the rotting secondary structures before he can even think about what kind of tenant would want to rent in that remote of an area with no municipal power, water, and shitty internet access.
