Yup, thanks to the Twitch leaks in combination with the bank leaks we have mostly objectively verifiable data on regards to his earlier Twitch/YouTube Adsense income. I made a couple charts awhile back (these both represent NET revenue)

I'm shit at math but it seems losing Twitch essentially removed half his effective income or at least a third. Say he's making 60k annually now (80k if we include his tips). How fucked is he in reality? I'm assuming Renton has a pretty high cost of living for being in the Seattle metro, but he's not in the city proper and as neither he nor his wife actually go anywhere or do anything, it cuts down on a lot.

I'm trying to understand if there is actually reason for his rant considering we all know he has no impulse control so his more recent behavior might be more warranted, in his mind.

At most he lost maybe 10-15% of his effective income when switching to YouTube, he's comparing his income from Twitch at it's highest point (when he got an abnormally high amount of cheers and gifted subs), strategically choosing his peak rather than usual baseline to further his little pity party for begging.

Phil somehow thinks he has 1k uniqure viewers. When youtube implemented these new ways to donate to the streamers, in phils mind, this means that new people or the silent majority will be encouraged to donate/'support'. You don't like memberships and can't tip? Well you can just use super chat. You're a person who watches the vods and can't donate live? Well you can use super thanks. Wanna hyped up the chat? Well you can do so with the gifted memberships. But since gifteted memberships on youtube are so new and work somewhat differently, the culture around them will be nowhere near as the gifting culture on twitch. The problem is that it isn't opening up new venues for potential new donators to support, but instead its spreading his current supporters funds to be divided in four/five ways.

He's not peddling as hard for gifted memberships as much as for super thanks because once he meet this arbitrary member goal, the gifted memberships are basically useless to him. With super thanks, he could delude himself into thinking the silent vod viewers will have a way to donate. But with gifted memberships, the reality hit him in the face fast.

On par with how he said back at the beginning in 2010, he made money "hand over fist" but not over $100k, that's just a conspiracy theory! Pretty sure he was making ~150-200 grand a year before moving to WA if you follow the trend backwards.

I did laugh at his examples for why he needed tips:

Sometimes it doesn't matter that DSP lives in a hell of his own creation, the desire to see someone scream in his face or batter him is overwhelming.

If he was really transparent (lol) he would instead of having a "tips goal" actually specify what that goal is for. So if he wants a new game(s) for the month he should have the amount of those games as the goal, same with a game system or whatever it is that he needs money for immediately.

First of all... not entirely sure if thats within Youtubes ToS to say tip him outside the platform so he can get most of the money and Youtube gets nothing.. but also the fact that his gifted memberships smugness went away so fast when he realized it would cut into his tips. Another thing... Bullshit that he has to wait until Wednesday or Thursday because he already complained about this before and got his money that Monday. Pay for fucking what? He just had his off day, he has several streams to do. Oh wait... pay for Paypal's fast transfer to his bank account like he does everyday and could cost him up to $15 dollars. That leaves him with only $50 for gatcha and booze because who knows how the night stream is gonna go.

He already proved that he fast transfers money all the time when he posted on Twitter how he was negative during Christmas time somehow:

I use Paypal alot. The only way you go negative that I've seen is refunds because PayPal doesn't allow over drafting.

BTW, Paypal has a debit card you can get so you don't have to transfer. You just use their card, but 13 years in the business Phil hasn't done that. Especially since he claims to use tips for bills.

BUT ANYWAYS.

Im wasting my finger strength. Everyone with a brain knows he's full of shit. Whoever is left who didn't realize he's a greedy, lazy, scam artist is either a troll/fan who spends other peoples money (stolen)/given to them on Phil, or money given for other needs (medicine, wheelchair grease) on Phil. And you can't convince these people because this is literally the only recognition they get in the world besides parents and their doctor.

Does Phil really think his whales are loaded? They literally spent like 200+ on memberships now he expects them to hit tips goal as well. He really doesn't think he can bleed them dry does he?
