I'm just hoping the jury agrees. I think they may. My guess is that both lose. It was a horrible toxic relationship. That's fully established. I, personally, think that she's fabricated a lot of this and Dr. Curry's diagnosis that she has BPD and HPD falls straight into line with what we're hearing in the audio and even the mask slips when she was testifying. She's a person who overly exaggerates to be looked at in the best light. Mind you, she was jailed for at least a night for assaulting her ex-wife. She vehemently denies this, but she was a fuckin inmate. There are records. The constant stream of obvious lies is really hard to take.

I think that's hyperbolic. She has emotions, she's just intensely selfish and self-centered, so as she feels those emotions, all that matters is her. She cares that you hurt her feelings, but she only cares about hurting yours insomuch as it's going to blow back on her. She is legitimately distraught in some of those recordings, but it's all about why she is distraught. She's terrified she's going to lose Johnny in Australia because she finally crossed the line and hurt him severely and she knows it. She's absolutely emotionally ruined because Johnny keeps running away from her and triggering her abandonment issues. She feels emotions. And not just like a sociopath or psychopath who only feels shallow emotions and doesn't know how to respond properly except mimic what they think people around them want them to behave like. What she lacks is empathy. She just does not seriously consider anyone else's emotions like she does her own. She can manipulate them some, she's aware of them, but she doesn't really care about them or prioritize them in any way unless making someone happy or not-sad is also making her happy or not-sad.

But the bit I bolded, in one of the recordings she's saying that after Australia they were able to have 'normal arguments'...yes, because you were behaving yourself and not trying to punch fuck out of him every time you fell out coz you knew he was pulling away after you nearly cut his finger off you mental bastard!

I think she changed the dates because during the week break there was a picture being posted of her with a split lip holding a note, apparently written by JD, that said 'I'll be back'. She said that it was after one of these violent incidents but it was proven to be from 2012. Don't know how tho, maybe the metadata but there's been issues with that so fuck knows. I don't know if it was brought up in this trial but it was in the UK one from what I've read.

It's insane that Amber keeps trying to push that the police officer who responded to her domestic violence call, a woman, looked her dead in the face and saw obvious injuries and looked at a smashed up place and then decided not to report this. A woman with no connection to Johnny, who had a partner with her, who would risk legal and employment repercussions for covering up a report that wouldn't even do anything by existing. And her primary issue to begin with was that Amber refused to even put in the effort to lie to the police officer at the time. She keeps showing a face that has no injuries on it and claim that it's actually injured, and expects people to just not know what getting a split lip or a broken nose is like - as if you can just put some ice on it and hide it by the next day, completely ignoring the fact that actual DV victims have a constant struggle to hide their injuries that include excessive clothing, sunglasses, and hairstyles that block view and still have to constantly make excuses for or dodge questions about their visible injuries and bruises. Nobody else in the world - including other people in the industry, apparently - has the sheer skill at makeup application that Amber does to make injuries completely vanish even in HQ photos...but she definitely didn't just paint on a bruise that one time with all that skill. You can't cover zits with makeup and leave no trace, but a mangled face and a broken nose is easy for Amber.

It's funny that Amber Heard's talent/manager/whatever claimed Aquaman was 'the most successful film ever' when she meant 'of the DCEU' but that actually makes it worse for Amber. She's trying to have it both ways, where she claims in interviews that 'fan campaigns are divorced from reality and never have any impact' but then also wants to claim that a smear campaign by Johnny lost her all of her possible opportunities for being Mera in Aquaman, but then also wants to say her op-ed had nothing to do with Johnny being fired from all his work. The truth of the matter is that Jason Momoa did get more opportunities because of Aquaman and became more of a household name than he ever was before (he was already on the upswing before then, but Aquaman really sent him higher) but Amber Heard's career was not impacted at all by Aquaman because she just didn't really leave an impression in it. It isn't because of a 'smear campaign' because if it were she would have gotten a bunch of invites and roles to bigger things and become 'household' like Jason before the impact of the smear campaign dragged her down. Mera had the supporting role next to Aquaman but nobody cared. People cared so little that Snyder changed her accent and her backstory in his cut because he didn't even remember her original ones. This is a real thing that happens to actors. You can get your big break and then blow it because you're just not that interesting. You can't make people like an actor/actress. All she did was get seen by a whole lot more people than usual....who then immediately ignored her in favor of Jason. People were ultra excited about the rumors of Emilia Clarke replacing her because they like Emilia Clarke - whatshername who played Sansa was also rumored to replace her and nobody really cared because she is also boring.

If it was merely "Star in something big enough and your career must go up and you must become more famous than ever before" then Sophie Turner (that's Sansa's actress - just looked it up) would provide more overall hype because she was in Game of Thrones and got a part in X-Men, where Emilia hasn't done anything notable since Game of Thrones. The fact is, some actors and roles are just boring. It's what happens. You can get all the big breaks you want, all it's going to add up to are bit parts in tv shows and b movies if the audience doesn't care about you every time you appear.

And it's really consistent. Ask anyone about Amber Heard outside of the context of the court case, or what their impressions were of Amber or Mera. They'll say "Hot but boring" or "Hot and not much else". You can also ask people not following the petition or comics themselves what the name of Aquaman's redhead girlfriend was in the movie and they probably will not remember. She has no screen presence, she isn't particularly good at acting. Literally all that she brings to the table is that she is hot, and despite impressions about Hollywood, that just isn't enough on its own. You could argue that it's writing that made Mera bad, not Amber, but while that ultimately doesn't matter because the end result is the same, there were multiple writers and directors involved, and none of them gave people a positive impression of Mera. Logically, it's probably at least partially Amber's fault.
