The twist at the end of The Watchmen comic is that the badguy "created" an Alien that he then dropped in the middle of new york to kill millions..which would unite the United States and Russia against the "AAAAYLLLLAMMMMMAAAOOOOs"

Unsurprisingly according to supplementary materials this plan utterly fails, because it is fucking stupid.

Except way worse because at least in the Twilight Zone they shared their technology and made Earth into a paradise before taking everybody off world to eat them.

Capeshit comic book written by communist Alan Moore back in the 80's, featuring Richard Nixon as a flimsy stand-in for a-logging Reagan and Thatcher.

Though he unintentionally created one of the most based & redpilled superheroes of all time in the character Rorschach.

What supplemenatry materials? If Moore didn't write it, it may as well not be canon anyways. The non-Moore comics were garbage.

The first election with vote by mail in Oregon was in 1981, the first federal election by mail was in 1996, and the first presidential election by mail was 2000. It is way easier to pressure someone to vote when you can see their ballot than on a ride to the polls, not to mention all the shady stuff that the postman or election official could (and most likely) do. VBM is always terrible; there is no way of verifying that the vote totals actually correspond to real ballots filled out by eligible voters because the chain of custody is broken by definition.
