I'm honestly shocked that Asalieri hasn't gotten his own thread yet considering what a fucking retard he is.

The most important thing you need to know first & foremost is that the reason Asalieri rants on other reviewers is because he was rejected from ChannelAwesome & Reviewtopia, in that order. He was a wannabe reviewer that was so bad at reviewing that he was rejected by every review site he signed up to & then started reviewing these review sites out of butthurt.

His biggest fiascos tend to involve AVGN, once when he smugly pointed out an allegedly bloated budget for the AVGN movie that he found on IMDB [glorified Wikipedia] & also when he pirated the movie months later.


Mind you, this is the same person who will rag on content creators for not having "real jobs". Ironic that being a man proud of the sweat & blood he sheds for his keep, unlike his plebeian peers, he felt he was entitled to having something for free. This is the same person who has been known to e-beg on occasions.

Even better are his legions of supporters who constantly attempt to sanctimoniously justify his actions by claiming that since the movie is shitty, it's therefore morally acceptable to steal it. They apparently do not see the irony in committing a crime while claiming moral superiority. Two wrongs make a right in the cult of Asalieri.

Errrm.... is there anything that remarkable about him though? At the end of the day, he comes off as another butthurt YouTuber who's miffed that he isn't getting rich off of videos and trying to get famous off of the anti-fan bandwagon of TGWTG and AVGN. Him stealing a movie and being a snarky bitch in the comments isn't that funny, really. Just kinda... pathetic.

I mean, it's also the case with other cows like Jenny and DSP, but they seem far more volatile and go off on insane, idiotic rants about the pettiest of things, and they overall just seem to have more public chimpouts. Asa stalking that guy was a pretty shitty and creepy thing to do, but I'm not exactly here to get mad at someone, and people stalking ex-friends isn't very funny.

I dunno. I just feel like there isn't quite enough content here for me to care. Just seems like another YT sperg.

I think it's kinda funny that he constantly makes his hill a moral stand against the Nerd menace and consistently betrays each and every one of the morals he claims to value out of petty spite and then go on deleting sprees whenever he's been called out on his bullshit. I don't see why Asa isn't deserving of his own thread when we have threads on the AmazingAtheist, Spoony & Linkara.

Fair enough, I suppose. They all do seem to keep discussions going on purely through their videos and their reactions to fans (although if you find any pics of an Asa BDSM instagram or anything equally autistic then I think we might have some nice new content).

yeah, I made that thread. As @Someone in a Tree pointed out though, it didn't get much attention.

That being said, Asa's possibly the poster child of everything wrong with the commentary community. He's a huge hypocrite when it comes to his "Commentaries", he stalked a former friend and constantly plugs (or plugged) his trading cards whenever he could... even though he decried other people for doing similar things.

Oh, and for those wondering, there's more to Asa than what Marvin pointed out. He's apparently had a history of being a complete douche. ED's documented his life pre-YouTube. As well as his "Circlejerk" (Like A-Log's, but more pretentious and with He11sing920. Who you may remember got into an argument with BBC, and for his so-called "reviews").

From what I have heard, that isn't the case anymore. Asa and He11sing are no longer friends. Asa made a video about it, claiming it was over a video game. I tried to message He11sing about it, and all he would say is that Asa is a liar and that he wasn't going to talk to a stranger about it.

Makes me wonder if Asa has any friends left? According to Asa himself, Razorfist walked away from Asa, too. Now, with He11sing gone, Asa has almost no one left.

Asalieri is very proud of this industrial spying, to the point where he wrote a (shitty) book to justify his father's actions (making illegal photos of classified documents and blueprints is fine folks!) and portray him as some sort of idealist fighting for the greater good. Asa probably didn't make any money off the book as it leaked online. And it's not like anyone would pay for such a poorly written mess anyway.
