It’s really pathetic how retarded NATO cum swallowers keep perpetuating “muh democracee” while also saying dumb shit like this.
No, what's pathetic is that people are out here criticizing a nation for taking fifth-columnists seriously and actually taking a stance against it, while decrying "globohomo".
What's pathetic is engaging in the doublespeak and doublethink of the Duganist schizo, who simultaneously announces that "Russia stronk" means it can do whatever it wants in a multipolar world but also that Ukraine being NATO is an automatic defeat of poor weak and surrounded Russia.
A vital part of "democracy" is that you don't break the rules. You come with a foreign army, you forfeited the game of democracy. You ask for a round of bareknuckle, the gloves come off and you don't get to cry about it.

Looks like Zelenskiy is still trying to bait the Poles into forcing NATO to invoke Article 5. This time by offering special status in the Ukraine for Polish nationals.

Poland has granted the right to live and work and claim social security payments to over 3 million Ukrainian refugees fleeing Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Earlier on Sunday, a Ukrainian ruling party lawmaker said that Zelenskiy had announced the imminent tabling of a parliamentary bill to give Polish citizens "special legal status" in Ukraine.

This comes just days after Poland began demanding that Norway share the profits they are making from the current fuel shortages in Europe. The latest statements from Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki come after the Polish governmental energy company, Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe, submitted their environmental impact assessment reports to to the EU General Director for Environmental Protection last month for the first of a proposed six nuclear power plants.

But should we be paying Norway gigantic money for gas -- four or five times more than we paid a year ago? This is sick,” he said. “They should share these excess profits. It’s not normal, it’s unjust. This is an indirect preying on the war started by Putin.

FOUR YEARS FOR BURGERS TO TAKE SADR CITY
Be America, greatest military on Earth
Invade Arab shithole for no good reason
A fat incel towelhead screams to his paypigs to destroy the invading infidels
Four years to take a run down neighborhood of sandniggers

!0 years from now, historians will study how Russia was forced to give up control of Ukraine's second largest city in exchange for a "literally who" shithole farming town of limited strategic importance.
This is so wrong, Popasna was one of the most heavily fortified areas the UAF had at its disposal and they rightfully spent hundreds to thousands of men holding it. If it was a "literally who shithole farming town of limited importance" they wouldn't have been pulling supplies and reserves into there for months. Popasna also served the important purpose of keeping the LPR within their borders and preventing the entire grouping of Zolote, Komyshuvaka and Hirske from getting outflanked themselves. There's not a single city in the DPR/LPR - Ukraine border that's of "limited importance". To say that is incredibly ignorant of the conflict.

Ukraine is a light Infantry Army. They don't NEED the roads.
This is completely wrong, there's no such thing as a "light infantry army" (lol) unless you're talking about guerillas, which Ukraine isn't. Ukraine still has many tanks, artillery pieces and IFVs/APCs and trucks left. Light recon and special forces can move through country roads, but trying to retreat through dirt roads and village roads with heavy equipment is going to make you sitting ducks and means you're going to take ages to get anywhere, not to mention that many roads may not even fit tanks, or even worse, any bridges may not allow them to even pass through due to weight limitations.
That is has been the entire story of this war
No it hasn't.
. All the videos of the Ukrainian Army on the move, including their vehicle pulled artillery, shows them moving through trees and down cow paths.
This isn't true (very selective to say the least) but the videos you do see are because these are often the only roads available, and this is fine to do when you're 20, 30 people max moving through. Trying to retreat 20,000 people through dirt roads is going to end up in a lot of people getting lost, a lot more getting fucked by artillery and air power, and complete disorganization of your troops. Not even the best organized armies can make such retreats work, let alone an Eastern European one.
The reliance of the Russian Army on main roads and rail lines has been the major contributing factor for why they have failed to land any significant kill shots on Ukraine.
It really hasn't. Every army on planet Earth is reliant on main roads.
Their ability to shell a "main road" is meaningless
How is the ability to control artillery fire on one of the main places of retreat that your enemy has "meaningless"?
, since the enemy they are fighting does not use those roads in the first place
Lol, do the Ukrainians just fly around in jetpacks?
. Russia can waste as many rockets as it wants on empty stretches of road. It accomplishes nothing.
Other than blocking the retreat of everyone in the Donbas, as we're currently seeing.
Is it really so hard to see what Ukraine is doing? Its an attrition war.
Attrition wars go the way of people with the ability to kill more of the enemy without losses of their own. Russia has more artillery and more air power. Ukraine has less and less every day.
They are bleeding Russia white in the region of Ukraine they never really controlled to begin with while building up power west of the Dneiper.
Citation needed. Most of what I've been hearing about building up power is TDF, and these are also sent to the Donbas front periodically where they apparently don't do very well (unconfirmed reports and rumors).
This fight for the Donbas is a side show compared to the real battles,
What are you even talking about? This is very ignorant. The Donbas is where most of Ukraine's very experienced troops and much of their armor (read: irreplaceable tanks, IFVs and APCs) are as well. There were around 60,000 UAF personnel in this region, if all of these are captured, wounded or killed, the UAF essentially loses all ability to put up a meaningful defence anywhere else. If this was a "side show", the UAF would have retreated ages ago instead of what they're doing now: letting themselves be ground down by the Russians through extensive artillery fire and aviation.

I know people love harping on about the TDF, but conscripts are already bad with armor support, let alone when you're in Ukraine's positions where you have less armor by the day.
which are for Kryivi Ri, Melitipol, Zaporzhia and Kharkiv. Those are are the regions that REALLY matter.
According to who? Both the Russians and Ukrainians seem to disagree. Most of Ukraine's actual military personnel is in the Donbas, and counter offensives and offensives are very limited in all other parts of Ukraine as both of them slug it out in there. The only time Ukraine tried anything near Zaporizhia, they lost 26 tanks for their trouble and this was the only meaningful counter attack in months, and the Russians didn't even care enough to try to take ground off it.
Until Russia can take those areas, they are wasting the bulk of their active duty military seizing control of cow pastures that are of little strategic or economic importance to Ukraine.
Again, what are you talking about? Many of Ukraine's grain fields are in the Donbas region, you should know this since you literally just referred to them as "cow pastures". There's natural gas in Luhansk as well, IIRC. Not to mention the political and military reason for taking these places: liberating the DPR/LPR is Russia's main casus belli, and most of Ukraine's well fortified and better troops and equipment are stuck in the Donbas.

They may retreat from Sloviansk, but that will depend on how badly things go on the Kharkiv Front
They should retreat to Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. These are the last well fortified places the UAF has that aren't at incredible risk of being turned into cauldrons. Worst case scenario, they can turn these two cities into another Mariupol, which would be more or less the most they can do in the Donbas by now. In Kharkiv, the Russians are on the counter-counter offensive and the taking of Ternova has been reported the past day. No confirmation yet.

I think Ukraine thought about making a push for Kherson
Ukraine attempted many times to push towards Kherson but eventually realized it wasn't going to work. Chernobaivka repelled at least 13 or so Ukrainian attacks (though for all we know these were just probing attacks and not real stuff).

Or the korengal valley, its just a valley with trees and huts, not even a steel plant and they never managed to control it. I would love to see americans fight someone that is actually equipped with modern technology and not just a few brown people in sandals with hand-me-down AK's

In other news, Americans are not sending their best to train Ukes

A map of the approximate situation on the ground in Ukraine as of 00:00 UTC 22/05/22.

Just curious about people worldwide, are you noticing Ukraine-Russia stories in the news lately or have they mysteriously dried up like they have over here. You get like a ten second snippet of Zelensky waving or some shit or "oh another rocket attack" but gone are the days of taking up half the news broadcast with "Please, donate everything you can to help poor defenceless Ukrainians from being raped to death by Russian Nazis"

No one gives a shit anymore where I'm at.

People started questioning the narrative too much. Last week on Deutschlandfunk during open hour there were quite a few people questioning why are we even supporting ukraine so much if there is zero gain from it.
