Oh, and his weaseling out of straight up calling Max a piece of shit is amazing. I'm not the biggest fan of the dood myself but holy fucking shit it's so easy to see he's scared to death of Max's fans and Max himself.

Yes, Max pulls well over a million dollars annually in revenue just from Twitch alone. Max also runs his own business on top of affording his relatively modest lifestyle. A lot of content creators do this. You think that his friends, editors, and even his Twitch mod staff work for free? He pays ALL OF THEM. And I know some Twitch channels have volunteer mod staff but given the size of Max's channel, I'm guessing he pays his mods. Phil thinks it's all greed but Mr. Business Degree has never understood the actual cost of running a business on your own.
