The idea is that you take a skin cell then ‘turn it into a stem cell then an egg’ then fertilise it with a sperm. It’s something you can kind of do in a petri dish but we have no idea how such an embryo would survive - imprinting gets reset and that’s hard to manage.
The ‘cut the womb out with all the blood vessels so it totes works’ is hilarious. There’s a lot more than just the blood plumbing involved. We will have external wombs before men give birth, but all of it is decades away minimum if it’s even possible. The chance of the foetus dying is so high no ethics would allow it.

the "bleed test" referenced here is probably bleeding time. its a VERY OLD test that has been completely replaced by modern coagulation testing. It is several decades out of date. The test is literally cutting the skin w/a device set to a standardized depth and using a stop watch to time how long it takes to stop bleeding without holding any pressure on the wound. its a small scratch. Bleeding time testing is a great idea if you don't have any other way to measure how thin a patient's blood is, but it is a sign that you are in a place without modern medicine. If surgery is at all avoidable in such a place, you should avoid it.

They do these in very specific situations. I remember we learned it but the teacher said "you probably will never do one but it's required" I was surprised that he had a bleed test done. I remember also being told this is sometimes paired with a PTT prothrombin time test if you are on a blood thinner. But this person never said they were so agreed I was confused by such a test being done.

Well I believe it's sort of like if you get a really really deep cut right you get this yellowish stuff that looks like that under the scab and in the wound. The "yellowish stuff" you're talking about is fat. Fat doesn't look like that - those are definitely partially dissolved sutures.

I've also seen white dissolvable sutures. The pus would probably be what's making them appear to be tannish/beige in color.

That graft wasn’t bandaged or bolstered and also failed, and the resultant hole scarred shut, so now my head is kinked and faces down. I asked him to do a tapered glans like Dr. Chen/Watt do and he said he would. He instead did a flat line 3/4 of the way around. My head is huge and blobby. When I expressed my disappointment to him he said that it looks good to him and he doesn’t see a problem aside from the ridge being flat.
In my last surgery he grafted a urethra in. I still have intense scarring underneath that makes it so I can’t stand my penis up. He wants to leave that and ‘let it soften’ and then remove healthy tissue to degirth."

These narratives are always wild to read because all of the following are true at the same time
- these surgeries are all botch jobs by their very nature and the troons are pitiful deranged deluded fools for expecting anything else
- the doctors are opportunistic butchers who dgaf
and yet, while the above are true, also,
- troons are unreliable narrators and attention-sucks who are surely nightmare patients and I can't blame the doctors for ghosting them. I'm sure their experiences really are nightmarish but I still don't quite believe their stories and figure they're probably nightmarish in a slightly different (and possibly even worse) way
