You can't just take this sort of thing at face value when they deny it. Of course they're not going to say "oh yeah we totally talked this mentally ill furry into shooting up a supermarket to save the white race". That said, further proof is needed before we can say with any certainty that they were involved.
Then that would bring up even more questions, such as who exactly are they, how large is their operation, etc.

This appears to be a special kind of shooter case; most have just been proven to be acting alone, maybe with a partner or two, and they make take inspiration from other unsavory figures or fowl corners online not unlike what Peyton had done, but it's not everytime a shooting occurs you hear of some kind of cabal basically coaxing the shooter into an act of mass violence.
I mean it's clear the kid was on the spectrum at the very least, so yeah, I'd consider manipulating mentally ill people to such an extent to be "grooming."
