If you want good Gura ASMR she did do an "Oceanside Soft Talking" members stream around the end of July 2021. I don't normally like ASMR where they are pretending to lick/clean your ears or whatever, but it was a Gura members only stream so I listened in and it was more just talking in a comfy whispery voice and also some amazing humming/vocalizing that did... things to me. Staying in the aquatic theme, it made me think that would be what sirens sounded like.

Council might have their 3D + 2 costumes before Irys has anything at this rate. I don't know if there are any more big 3D concerts planned this year, but if she doesn't have anything by next holofes we'll truly know that yagoo hates her.

Hire girl for her singing voice, but give her no 3d model so she can't participate in concerts.

Maybe they can have her be a cardboard cutout for those performances.

Pako is based. If only IRyS had an artist that loved doing stuff for her as much as he does for Sana. He is a total Hololive fan, in general, too. He likes and retweets the talents all the time.

I do feel bad for IRyS and hope the reasons for all the delays are to satisfy her request for a more traditional model rework and it will be all worth it, and not because they are just completely dropping the ball on her or redjuice is ghosting her.

Had a bunch of stuff on the Gura/"chumcon" spergout queued up to quote but dumped most of it since it looks like the jannies are tired of it and there were at least some level-headed responses to it. Made me feel like I was on twitter though where everyone who happened to like Gura was a guilty, filthy lolicon/pedo just for watching her streams. Have you guys looked in a mirror? You might make for good EN vTweeters though, you've got the stuff of overreacting and stereotyping an entire fanbase based on few bad members down pat.

At least from the Mumei members streams where she has talked about it, I really do think finding this group of people helped her out. Not that she would have done something truly horrible, but she sounded pretty miserable trying to pretend to be a normie and fit in but now can just be her weird self around them. Though it is kind of interesting that she used to be thought as one of the more normal roommates with a bf and everything and how much of that was her just trying to be "normal".




On a slightly different note... I know there are many people here who don't like Apex, but after taking a decade+ break from playing lots of FPS games (CS:S, BF1942/2) I got interested in Apex after seeing lots of vtubers playing it so I gave it a try and am enjoying it. I don't think I've seen mention of it here but rpr, a big Towa and other vtuber simp, who is a pro Apex player, is going to get a Live2D model and become at least a partial vtuber himself (not sure if he is going to 100% use it, mostly, or just occasionally). It will be interesting to have a male EN vtuber who isn't fujo-pandering or adjacent weeb type things but a more "normal" type of gaming streamer and how well he does. Not quite the best comparison when he's already got a built-in fanbase to boost off of before making the switch, but interesting nonetheless.

Compared to all the other FPS out there, Apex is solid imo.

I feel like it's OK if you've never played either of the Titanfall games before, but if you have, Apex just has this overwhelming feeling of being a badly slapped together cash grab, scraped together from the corpse of something much better. It just feels soulless, and has all of the worst memes of modern gaming, like butt ugly characters with abilities that are incredibly underwhelming because of balance, barely any progression if you don't buy a battlepass, generally overpriced store with RNG lootboxes, skill based matchmaking, your average BR game design which favors not actually playing the game and being a gigantic rat to win, etc., etc.. I probably could write a 5000 word essay on why Apex is ass and everything that's wrong with videogames, but nobody wants to read that, so I'll just say that the game is mega gay because you can't even drive a giant mech and run on walls.

Ngl, the more I watched this stream the more it felt like he was forcing himself to hate her music out of principle than any actual dislike for it. Was funny seeing the chat trash certain songs for supposed "mistakes" or amateur work only for those to be legitimate parts of the mix that flow well with the rhythm and beat. Contrarianism is simultaneously hilarious and peak retardation.

At the very least it was nice trip down memory lane and see just how much she's improved since debut. Before there was enough jank in her music that I had a hard time getting into it, but since End of a Life I find myself genuinely enjoying what she makes.

If you've never felt a shark in real life I recommend it. It's a strange feeling. They say it's "rough" or "like sandpaper", but that doesn't really convey it. It's "rough" I suppose, but you can feel the regularity of the denticles that is very different from familiar, irregular rough surfaces like sand paper. It's a sort of warm, living, rough-yet-smooth, dry-yet-moist feeling, very unique.

There was no beef, actually. ROAR just wanted to get something off his chest that was related to Brad, but largely focused on music spergery on the whole.

I figured out he was forcing the hatred a couple minutes into him listening to it. It's not because he doesn't like it, that's fine. The criticism of flow, while something I don't agree with, is a valid criticism if you don't like the flow. But for RIP in response to the line "Modern-day killers really must hate fun. More often, people takin' lives rockin' knives and guns" he said "we live in a society with murder, we live in a real world society". Her character is a Shinigami, so of course she's going to talk about killing people in some fashion. I immediately can tell that he heard 1 Demondice song, didn't like it, and now is applying to everything she makes. Another dogshit criticism was how he was genuinely annoyed that the song starts with Japanese. Plus is it really fair to criticize Demondice music for being "too personal", rap is often personal after all. Also I saw only 5 min and I really don't feel like suffering through more, maybe he's better on other days but this isn't one of the good days.
