The US has strong relationships with lots of countries, but very few commitments (overt or implied) to go to war on another country's behalf. We wouldn't go to war for Japan. Our treaty with them is much weaker than the NATO treaty, and they're plenty capable of defending themselves against any threat they'd face so we're not going to rush in to protect the little guy like we would for ROC, ROK, or OGA.

The media will probably continue to try to prop Pence up as a new version of Romney, a safe RINO they can count on. And Pence is dumb enough to fall for it and think he has a shot, but I agree, that dumbass might as well kiss his career in Republican politics goodbye and if he keeps it up he'll reach Liz Cheney levels of public rejection.

NATO could be vastly improved by kicking out France and Turkey and replacing them with Australia, Japan, and South Korea.

Not only that, but the vast majority of Republicans want a fighter, someone they know will stand up to the left. Pence is a appeaser, a jellyfish. He stands zero chance against Trump or DeSantis. He's either delusional or in it for more nefarious purposes.

The story goes that Pence has never seen so much money in his life since 2021 and his post VP speaking gigs, so when Eyepatch McCain or Dick and Liz limp up to him with checks to "do the right thing" he's selling out as fast as he can. Queue the new stories he'll just now reveal about how Trump grabbed his wife's ass or pushed some politician's tranny daughter down the stairs and pelting her with Big Macs.

… I’d be more likely to vote Trump if it turned out he pushed a tranny down the stairs and threw Big Macs at ‘her’. Pretty sure a lot of people would too, lol.

Being more serious though… yeah, that’s kinda Pence’s only shot, but he’d better hope he’s got a silver bullet, or else things aren’t going well for him.

WTF is Pence doing? I know he oughted himself as a RINO almost 2 years ago but now he seems to be actively sabotaging any attempt at forgiveness from Trump. Just more idiotic and unnecessary infighting when the GOP needs unity under Trump.

You also have to take into account Trump was facing D+10 and D+15 polls, he was facing into the wind to get those kind of polls. Biden is getting those same D+10 and D+15 polls and still sitting around where Trump was. Also kind of fitting Trump finished with around 47% of the vote, meaning they were off 9-13 points on his polling, I cannot wait to see where Biden finishes if he can get to 2024.
