How to improve my art ( I do not trace my artwork.)?

Learn human anatomy. I don’t mean everything will have to be 1-to-1 with actual humans, but it will help with your drawing. There is a wealth of free resources on this. Go to 4chans art board they have a ton of free pdfs.

Draw daily. Draw things you don’t generally draw like animals, plants, landscapes. Don’t pigeon hole yourself. Odds are you won’t be great at everything, but it’ll help you become a better illustrator.

Thank you for your advice. Means a lot to me.

You're a beginner and people are already upset at what you draw according to your word. Why do you care about upsetting people? You're posting on KF where people are perpetually upset.

Look, man. You can waste your time arguing with retards on the Internet on various platforms or you can use your precious time in your short life to learn how to draw.
These people are assuming I trace my work, and from your responses, it seems I'd be better off tracing anyways to improve. These people don't watch my youtube and aren't aware that I live stream, etc. They mostly are trolls who don't understand anything.

The most critical thing to do to improve your art right now is to stop trying to duplicate an existing image. You need to move on to the stage where you are drawing characters in poses/angles/expressions that aren’t the exact same as your reference material.
Since I don’t know exactly what direction you want to take your… artistic development, I’m going to recommend this: there are bound to be art instruction books at a bookstore near you, Amazon, or even your public library if you have a library card. When I was trying to get serious about my art as a teenager, I bought the book “figure drawing for dummies” and it helped me immensely with getting a grip on human proportion and how to set up the framework of a person so I didn’t have to rely on reference images for the specific pose/angle I was trying to depict.
But again, I don’t know if you want to try and expand into drawing more naturalistically or if you want to just keep making anime so you might not find that book helpful for you at this time.

Holy shit I can't believe this is real... in that case I'll give you real advice. You say you don't trace, but there isn't a whole lot of difference between actual tracing and staring at an image that is directly adjacent to where you are drawing and trying to recreate what you see perfectly. Draw more from your imagination. Nobody can accuse you of tracing if nobody has ever drawn it before.

Also, I care because even before I gain a following, they are angry at me. It's wrong and they should look into me more before assuming I trace my work, I have videos proving I don't which I've posted here.

All I do is draw from my imagination unless I'm doing fanart. Because of the tracing allegation, I work hard to make original characters.

Can’t go wrong with Andrew Loomis books if you want to learn how to draw better, get a better grasp on anatomy, perspective, color etc...

1.Fun with a Pencil
2.Figure drawing for all its worth
3. Color Illustration.

Though drawing poses through references, mapping muscles in your art helps too.

Ok, looking at some more of your videos I will add to my previous advice and stress that it is important to learn to make an underlying sketch with a simple line figure skeleton instead of fully drawing a head, then adding a torso and then adding limbs.

Thank you very much !

welcome to the fucking internet is this your first day here?
No, been using it since age nine, I thought people had more sense by now to not say that because what if it actually happens and you're the last person they talked to? you'd be held responsible for it.

Because I don't think you are who you are pretending to be. You are someone who doesn't like SamanthaPrater, posting here pretending to be her to get negative attention towards her.
How can I not look like myself? What picture do you have that says otherwise? Why would I openly want to put myself through negative attention?

why did you make an account on kiwi farms? which one of your fans told you to do that
I made one because I don't like rumors about me, and I want to make sure people know the real me versus the fake me.

What the fuck are you talking about? A picture? I was under the impression you were someone else. Someone who doesn't like you, not someone who doesn't look like you. You misread me. Regardless the video you uploaded cleared that up.

which rumors, specifically, are you worried about?

also how did you hear about kiwi farms?
I am worried about the fact that they think I don't bathe, that I caused a Suicide, (which is why I stand strongly against the message of killing yourself. ) I heard about it from the poster who posted me on Kiwi. There are even people who actually do think I'm a Cyberbully which is completely misguided information. I have been to the ward four times because of them, they called 911 at least a dozen times claiming I was suicidal to the crisis, etc. They don't even live in the same state as me, and I've blocked them on all platforms including this one. They pick on me, call me fat which is why I acknowledged it, and expect me to treat them nice after they do so which isn't okay. Then they wonder why I don't treat them nicely, they completely claim my Facebook posts are proof, which they are not, they've posted the same post in various places, whereas I had nowhere to defend myself. I get this is the internet, but I don't want the stress, I have a mental disorder that thrives on stress and I'd rather not deal with it. I don't want trolls coming into my DMS and attacking me because of something stupid that they said, or they found out I'm disabled and want to bully me because of it. I don't want my own personal army, what I want is for people to see the two different sides of the story and come to a conclusion. I've lost friends because of them as well, and I'm tired of this. People think I'm crazy and all I wanna do is defend myself. They think just because I'm disabled that I can't care for myself, and that is not true at all. I currently take care of myself, etc, and I'm proud to say that, they don't even live in my same state to see how I handle things, this is all online. :/
