Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

How the FUCK are these kids affording goddamn firearms that run upwards of a thousand dollars?

Every time I see one of these mass shootings and the shooter has like $15K worth the guns, body armor, bullets, a go-pro, night vision goggles, an armored Humvee, two Predator drones, sat-images of where he's going to attack, and 6 months of surveillance tapes, I keep asking...

FUCKING HOW?

You never see them pull it off with some piece of shit zip gun or an old bolt action or an old shotgun.

Nope.

Always state of the art AR-15 with a shit-ton of tacticool bullshit.

And they wonder why people are starting to go "Hmm, how long has the FBI known about him, when did the ATF visit him, and when did he get reported by the authorities?"
It's because of economy's of scale. By the way, an AR probably cost $700 to $1200 on average.

A holographic sight probably costs $500. The ARs don't cost that much because they are so popular. The more you produce the less it costs.

Very unfortunate TikTok bio.

There's a Wiki list for shootings that may qualify as "mass shootings" in the United States. According to that list, there was 693 in 2021. I do think that only some of them get highlighted by the media while everyone else is usually more hushed up.
Looking through that list you see that a large majority of them only get 0-3 deaths and maybe a dozen injured at worst. As such those stories just aren't that exciting since they're only a little more than regular shootings that happen everyday in the US. With just how much the media has available to report on only shootings where deaths and injured start breaking double digits and/or a particularly vulnerable or notable populations are targeted is when headlines start getting made.

Which is counterproductive to them in the long run. One of the less talked about points about the second amendment is that it protects the first amendment. The first amendment guarantees freedom of the press, which if removed, would make their jobs much harder.
LMAO

Journoscum don't want freedom of the press. They want to force feed us plebeians their opinions so that they control everything. Freedom of the press means freedom of others to criticize them or report on actual truth, which just makes their jobs harder. They honestly believe they know best for everyone else. There's a reason why journalists were part of the vanguard of the Russian Revolution. Sure, they were thrown against the wall with everyone else—but that didn't mean anything at the time because they were doing the "right" thing. But journoshits are too stupid to think more than a step ahead, even when the second or third step will take them off a cliff.

Wait, so he goes from being in custody to deceased? What, did they shoot him then he died after capture or something?

I'm reading CNN right now and an article updated a few minutes ago says 2 dead, a bunch being treated, shooter in custody

Local news sites say either 14, 15, or 16 dead depending. Dunno which is right
