Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

By the way, here’s an honest gun control idea that I don’t see many people bring up, but might end up making a difference…you can only buy a gun in the state that you live in. Could figure out some way to police this, maybe you have to show some ID like drivers license.
AFAIK, that's already the law.

Idk, I thought of this because one of the loopholes democrats bring up is that even if your state has background checks or full on bans so you pretend to feel safer, people buy guns out of state. I don’t think I would support this law either tbh.

That is literally how it already is. If you want to purchase a firearm that isn't in the same state as you, you have to have it transferred to an FFL who will then process a 4473 for you and then once that clears give you possession of the firearm.

States already have that. Need to be a resident to buy a firearm.
How would this solve gun crime? It wouldn't.

Just a thought, would probably get loopholed the shit out of, or people would just purchase guns illegally.
Doesn't work. In California, they have limited what guns you can purchase by labeling them "CA compliant" and restricting the clip size; hasn't done shit to deter violence.

Restrictions lead to more illegal activity and shady dealings. Scum will always find a way regardless of the bleeding hearts wanting stricter laws and hypocrites on Capitol Hill being lobbied by the same manufacturers and their subsidiaries they claim to be sick of. The only way this will all come to a halt is when capitalism fails; short of that, I see no end in sight unfortunately.

Isn't that only for handguns but not rifles?

Deep down, they know there is a world of people who voted these guys into office. I bet leftists are scared of them too, in the surface level way that they are scared of all guns.

The people who want the guns want them because they know they're doing or will do things which in a sane world would cause people to want to shoot them. If there's an alternative explanation that works for the psychopathy found in almost all politicians I've yet to find one that's convincing.

Dunno if you're joking with your gun control idea...and I don't blame you if you aren't because almost everyone is ignorant of actual gun laws in the USA, but that's already federal law. Technically interstate private party sales are also illegal but almost impossible to regulate.

e: needed a "n't" for my sentence to make sense derp

Every interstate transaction is supposed to go through a dealer iirc with some very limited exceptions of which only CnR license holders comes to mind. And they technically aren't an exception because they are an FFL.

Nigger is shaking with exitenment to get some gun bans going.
creepy demon possesed bitch.gif

People honestly wouldn’t react like that as much if the first thing that happened after shootings wasn’t politicians/media salivating over banning guns. It’s not that guns themselves that are the issue, it’s typically mental illness and/or lack of structure. I’d be curious to see how many mass shooters come from single parent households or have a history of mental illness. Though, that’s not as easy as just saying “why don’t we ban guns?”
Americans are such retards. They really think mental illness and single parents are a thing only in their country. Every country has that shit but only one country has mass shootings galore.
Oh well this is the society they chose. Fuck why should I care.

Here's a video of the shooter running into the school. Note that he is RUNNING from the police.

I don't want to be hasty in making assumptions, so take from this what you see and hear only.
You literally say you don't want to make assumption, but you see a video of a man running with a rifle into a building and nothing else, and then you go and assume he is RUNNING from the police. It was already confirmed he was killed by a lone Border Patrol agent who didn't wait for backup, so obviously he was not in active nearby pursuit by the police or else they also would have shown up along with the agent.

kids gunned down on the playground return as bats - pursue a nigga with some careless aim

Americans have one of the highest rates of mental illnesses. It's not a society we choose. What the fuck do you want us to do? You act like this is something that is easy to fix. It's not. All this is complicated and not all shootings are the same, some perpetrators have a motive, some just want to go out while taking others with them. Ban guns? Yea, like Drugs?
