yeah, Australia state and federal government has the same fart huffing, cultish belief in their own moral superiority, god given authority as the rest of the anglo world, however domestically it's between the USA and UK on the petty tyranny scale.

Also every negative and often overblown stereotype about american and UK food is made manifest in Straya. Restaurants/takeaways are as a whole: inconsistent, bland and overpriced in most areas unless you want something deep fried[fish and chips] or a burger. So go down to the local woolies produce section and pack a lunch should you want to eat healthy on a visit.

Great country besides the two big negatives of state and cuisine.
