What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

I gave up fully on nerd cubed when he bitched about Six days in fallujah
That also reminds me of the time he flipped the fuck out over MGSV: Ground Zeroes, where you have a few hidden tapes you can collect of the characters, one of them is about a female character Paz getting raped which was a real dark moment in the story, only for this retard to spend half a video bitching about it and how horrible it was they made "rewarded" you for getting a collectable with a rape tape. Genuinely surprised Dan never got a thread over the years here given how much of a massive cow he acts like.

This video pretty much led to a downward spiral on a youtuber I used to watch, JelloApocalypse. At first I thought he was a funny animation youtuber but then he made this

It was a very preachy political video that seemed neutral at first, but then became "VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO!". It's worse when his channel is likely viewed mostly by children which is even worse as the demographic his content is for does not vote. Ever since then his videos have gradually become worse with his "This is Basically" series becoming unfunny garbage that are thinly veiled rants about series he doesn't understand. It doesn't help his twitter shows this where he insults fans of various shows and acting like his own opinion is superior (i.e. Like making fun of/insulting Jojo fans for thinking it had depth and then when called out, cried saying he was a victim who just liked a series for different reasons).

It gets worse since he still has his head shoved up his ass to sniff his own farts to this day acting like he is the most intelligent person ever.
It’s funny how hypocritical JelloApocalypse is now. Especially calling out Weebs and the weebs dug up his nsfw shit.

I used to watch Grav3yardgirl a fair amount. I wasn't invested in her as a person but her videos amused me.

THEN came the Starbucks drama, about 3 years ago now.

From what I recall she had been going through SB drivethrough and getting drinks, then going back through multiple times a day getting free refills. Eventually an employee told her to stop that, as free refills were supposed to be for dining area only.

Millionaire youtuber threw a gigantic Karen fit, complete with calls to corporate and making vlogs about it. Pretty sure the best videos were deleted, and golly did Bunny go after any channels discussing what happened. Threats were made by youtube if clips from grav3yardgirl's videos were used, and the "Swamp Fam" was sent like a swarm of bitchy locusts to attack anyone talking about it. At least that's what happened at first, I searched for 'grav3yardgirl starbucks' and there are several videos talking about it.

Here's one with a clip of what I'm talking about. I wish my computer wasn't a potato so I could archive all this shit, but hopefully other people did it already, because it was such a surprising reaction from a usually nice acting person.

I can't watch any of Bunny's stuff anymore, not product review videos, not her Banana Peppers vlog channel, nothing. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth now.
She looks like a trooned out version of the kid from the Little Giants

Politics is a big dealbreaker for me. I don’t care if I agree with them or not. If I subscribed to watch videos of you feeding your frogs or talking about guns I don’t want to hear about politics.

I used to watch kitboga a lot, but it just seemed to get repetitive after a while. It’s funny to call up dumbass pajeets in call centers trying to run a scam and give them the run around, but his videos started to blend in with one another after a while.

I haven't even watched it. Strawmanning your own audience + """"ironic"""" soyface? We're done forever.

I have a $75+ book by him in my Bandcamp cart.

I swear, the more I see YouTubers put "hilarious" faces in their thumbnails, the more I want to see a chainsaw lodged in them. I don't care how many MATI ratings I get, they're not funny, they're fucking obnoxious.

He looks exactly like how I imagined him. Jesus Christ, why do they all have pube beards, doe eyes and glasses?

Just be thankful you're not missing anything.

I used to really enjoy this channel. Then she posted this and I had to click off it almost immediately.

I mean...Non-binary is bullshit anyway. But referring to Trisha-fucking-Paytas with they/them pronouns is beyond retarded. Especially when Trisha herself is a huge troll who still uses normal pronouns anyway. So why the fuck play up this enbie nonsense? It just encourages other tards to adopt that shit.

His argument actually isn’t that unreasonable. There is new music that's worth listening to (or to be precise what you may enjoy), it's harder to find though because the internet fragmented audiences. So when he was reading off new music that he loves I randomly picked his recommendation "Evil Genius" and got this.

Okay it's a fucking jam session. Like shit I like Sonny Sharrock discovering him from Space Ghost but if you're using that as argument that this is the music you should spend your time with as opposed to pop classics well I dunno what to tell you. You can't play this shit at a party and expect most people to dig it.

The reason why "Boomer Music" ended up getting so revered is that for a solid few decades there were a bunch of big bands/artists that were given enough resources to develop a well produced album. The catch was they also had to make sure the album was popular so they could keep making more music and money. If they failed to do that last part it could kill bands, see Weezer's Pinkerton (a fantastic album) that almost killed the group and its initial rejection made Weezer turn into forgettable bland pop for most of its ensuing existence.

And then you get to modern music, and only Hip Hop and total Pop music still has the environment where bands want to make albums that are listened to by the whole nation. Contemporary Rock bands have largely entered this fucking navelgazing shit only pretentious fuckwads at Pitchfork could say is good.
Fun fact: The song that this album is from is No. 5 on Pitchfork's best albums of 2021. Not to offend anyone who digs this music but it's boring as shit to me. And they ask why people on Youtube comment "New Music Sucks?"

When Just Some Guy started defending pedos and LGBT weirdos, I stopped watching him. He clearly would rather fill his videos with disinformation in order to protect his own sexuality. TheAlmightyLoli tore him a new one recently.

I remember watching his videos pretty regularly and then gradually becoming annoyed/losing interest, too. Good to know about that defending pedo stuff, I had no idea. It's a shame because I just generally used to enjoy his content and most of his takes on stuff. Too bad.

Same here. While it was pretty "fashionable"/commonplace for the average Youtuber to drop a "Trump bad" joke or shoehorn in a quick political take, it started to wear on me after a while. A quick joke once in a while I can maybe tolerate, but yeah, totally agree: If I subbed to you because your channel is about Old Hollywood or an anime RPG where you summon various historical figures to fight for you in a Holy Grail War I don't want to hear shit about your political stance. Keep the politics on the political channels.

Anytime a content creator posts a "I'm Non-binary, "I'm Asexual/Gay/Not Straight etc" or troon reveal video, it's like...I'm out. These people have lost me for good. It's attention-seeking bullshit and really calls the credibility of the creator into question. I suffer very few trannies and I flat-out refuse to validate or acknowledge a tumblr gender like "non-binary."

"Identity reveal" videos are just shit in general. If I'm subbed to the channel it's almost always because the content is something I'm interested in, whether this something is being documented, reviewed, critiqued, mocked, commentated on, etc.

Zach was always grating at best, but when this fucking thing popped up in my feed I never clicked on "unsubbed" so fast

I'm surprised I was even still subbed to him when this one popped up one day. I actually used to watch him for his Onision stuff but he was becoming too cringe for me before this big "shocking" reveal

Edit to add: Because I didn't finish my above thought there - it comes down to this: If I'm subbed to a channel, it's because of the shared interest (unless I'm hate-watching, that is different lol). Beyond that, I don't care about the "identity" of the creator. There are plenty of creators who I know or this or that about and that is fine. It's when they USE their claimed identity for points or attention is where I get annoyed.
It reminds me of the absolute turnoff I felt when Jim Sterling suddenly popped a video talking about how he was a...[insert mogai shit here but totally nonbinary going through hrt] shit on his main channel and from then on out, every video of his about his totally nonbinary tits and whatnot when all I really wanted was just some gamer news shit.

I had slightly similar feelings to someone known as Mr. Clemps who suddenly was nonbinary. Which makes no sense because he looks like a dude, calls himself MISTER and really just lives like a dude.

I guess it was bound to happen since his avatar wears Sailor Moon outfits and there's an underlying "me so horny" jokey demeanor in a lot of his videos. He didn't make a video about it but he suddenly started referring to himself with they/them and shared pro-nonbinary tweets and shit.

Also holy shit, Mr. Repzion looks not good. He has always looked a little weird but here he looks like ass..

Agreed. Way back in the day, it was what made me unsub to Quinton Reviews when the Thinning 2 rant happened.
Another person who turned me off was MermaidGrove who did follow-up videos on Kitchen Nightmares restaurants and he made this, deriding one of the owners for being a Trump supporter as if it was a huge flaw of his character or some shit

I'm not American so I'm indifferent to Trump specifically being bashed but like this was about some restaurant failing, not fucking Trump. Made me unsub right then and there.

I watched one of Good Vibes Gaming’s videos about Sakurai’s non-Kirby/Smash games, and he almost immediately started whining about how white people are over represented in video games. Dropped it immediately.

A bigger example would be Ebolaworld/Sam T Productions. He had a series called Taco Man Plays which was basically an AVGN clone featuring his animated avatar, Taco Man. Back around 2015, he made a video about the first AVGN game and spent the entire video ranting about why he hates James Rolfe. He had complained about AVGN in the past, but it always came off as a joke (e.g. AVGN knockoff character drunkenly complains to a woman at a bar that he’s better than the original since he has a working Jaguar CD), but this entire video was just mean-spirited and full of personal attacks against James himself, plus a rant about James refusing to watch Ghostbusters 2016 for good measure. It just left a bad taste in my mouth, and I stopped watching him. Apparently he soon started making Orange Man Bad-tier political parodies, so I left at the right time.

This video is making me stop watching Drew's videos. I knew he was left but he didn't really push it in his work except for proceeds for one video going to some tranny charity. I could ignore it, compared to his gay canadian buddy Kurtis Conner who is just a SJW shit. But this video shows him walking around, in Orlando Florida, wearing a mask all the time. I can't believe he didn't add "Virtue!" to every scene with a mask so he could show the fags in california he's saying gay all the time to fight Ron Desantis.

Funhaus when they announced Lawrence was leaving. I didn't particularly like him but that was the point where too many of the OG InsideGaming crew had left. What was once a small channel run by close friends had become an AH clone run by a corporation and staffed by hires who don't have that chemistry. You can tell they're being paid to interact with eachother.
I stopped watching when Bruce quit, clearly he was the one that powered the dynamics in the group, and without him the vids missed energy.
I hadn't even mind James sometiimes dropping his political commentary, I think him and Elise are huge libs, which is kinda weird seing how they often make jokes that would get them cancelled if more of their viewers were woke.
I discovered funhaus pretty late (I'm not a gamer) so I basically started watching the massive backlog of vids and then suddenly Bruce quits, Lawdog quits, there's some drama with Adam and suddenly noone's there. Still the music band manager vids, the drunk vids and the cocopa ones are classics

maybe his wearing a mask in public because his forced too?
