This was over on the GUNT thread, but I figure it probably belongs more over here.

I can't stand Dollar Tree greasy Rob Reiner, but I can (somewhat) imagine that a lot of the reasons he's greasy, nasty, and said something on camera about "Why bother showering?" is because Flemish Giant Dewlap is just as nasty as nasty can get off camera. We've already seen how willfully unhygienic and disgusting she is ON camera already. We also know the Villa resembles an episode of A&E's Hoarders.

So I can imagine that it just rubbed off on James. Why shower? Why pick up any messes? Why vacuum? GUNT is just gonna shart, wheeze laugh, and eat some more 3 day old radioactive orange rotting paneer she left on the couch.
And save it for later.

He needs to move out and on his own for starters. Rainbows, rainbows. But he'll only keep getting worse here on out.

I completely agree with this. When they moved in together he was still an insufferable condescending SJW; but his hair was neat, he showered, his room seemed tidier, and he was much thinner. He came out of his room more often and engaged. His whole demeanor seemed different. Now two years in living with Chantal and it is clear that it has not been a good situation for him. I'm not defending him; he did choose this life after all and still defends her.

When people say Peetz could do more, I can always understand why he doesn't. As bad as his mental state is now, imagine actually cleaning up and making the place nicer and then having her destroy it in less than a day. It would be worse. She isn't his child. She isn't even his girlfriend. I would venture she's not even really his friend. She's just his roommate who takes advantage of the fact he has decent credit and is a cucked sped. He has no excuse for not taking care of his own room, but I completely understand not lifting a finger on the rest of the house. We do know he at least does laundry because we've heard the buzzer on the dryer a few times and Chantal has mentioned him doing it randomly. So, he does have that on her.

I can also see how living with her doing all of her absurd and disgusting behavior would affect him. When he was working nights and trying to sleep she would hurple through the house live streaming, laughing, and talking at the top of her lungs at all hours. He'd be asleep and she'd need something and "PEEEEEE....". He's probably been sleep deprived at least since she moved in, not to mention the fact that she was the one that agreed to do the cooking, cleaning , and grocery shopping in exchange for him putting his name on the lease and not making her live alone. I think he knows he's been screwed over, but I can also understand why he doesn't want to admit it online. The backlash from Chantal would be horrific and it's clear he might be the only person she does treat completely like trash.

Again, not defending him and I don't feel sorry for him, but I do have eyes....and in his case, unfortunately ears

Peetz is sort of a housewife at this point. So I don’t think it would be too much to expect him to clean. Take care of the pets. Even do her laundry. But he is subject to kind of unimaginable horror most days. But then again he deserves it. I don’t know. What I can’t get is why he imagines anyone at all gives a fuck about him playing video games. Or even existing. He could do hilarious behind the scenes Chantal videos if he had a personality at all.
