I think we all just wanted a good hollerin. I know I did at least. He went around the corner and came at them. Cog didn't move at all until Ralph came at him. He had every chance to make it about words but he attacked and got repelled. If they went full headstomp in the road on him I would be with you. I think he really got in only a couple good punches and I don't think he went overboard. Could be I have watched entirely too many fight videos so I see this as more tame of an outcome than you might though. I think that's our major difference here is the severity in our personal view.

I'm for Eastern Europe and I've been in plenty of fights when younger, on both ends of the punch. I've also witnessed and partook in acts of unwarranted cruelty. You never truly become dull to it.
It's not an issue of severity and I agree the Cog buddy had good discipline.
If I had to guess, and if I were to be philosophical, IF you remove his hollering sound and cut his initial attack, all you're left with is a one sided pummel. Beaten and humiliated. And if you watch his demeanor the entire time, it's a mix of bewilderment and childish fear.
I've only seen this type of look and behavior from children being abused just for cruelty's sake.
Not to get too sappy, but you can't turn your emotions on/off. You feel what you feel.
And all I wanted to do, was just laugh.
