Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

What is it with jealous dumb Southies mad about the rich and prosperous Golden State? Jealousy methinks. Can't you shit on Idunno Michigan or something for once?

Skipping over your internet slapfight with feline to just say I have never met anyone who was actually jealous of anything about California.

We rant nonstop about California because you use your big fancy economy to export third worlders and retarded faggot liberal policies nationwide, because you think everyone thinks and must think like you, or they are bad.
We'd be fine shutting up about California if you cunts would stop putting people like Pelosi, Feinstein and Kamala on the national stage and just keep to yourselves.

There is no 'state sponsored indoctrination' you fucking moron, you can look at the curriculums in your state yourself. Just because one retarded textbook said math is racist doesn't mean the entire nation is teaching that.
What do you call mandatory holocaust week every fucking year? The fact that 3/4 of history taught for before WW1 is just about the evils of slavery? Shit, there's more to history than "Rome did some things, there was an American revolution, slavery bad, the north gloriously won, (skips WW1 almost entirely), Nazi's are bad, the Berlin Wall fell. Most of us here lived through the schooling, so you can't very well lie about it.

Also read my edit on the last post since you edited before I could reply earlier.

You say that as you put people like McConnell Abbot and DeSantis on the world stage. The south loves it's obstructionists as much as it loves Grits. You can't expect a state with more people than Canada or Australia to keep to itself. It's way more important the say, Alabama.

Public school doesn't teach kids how to teach their kids. No one person can know the information needed to teach over a decade of education to a kid.
I taught my sisters basic maths growing up when I was 7 and they where 5 and 3. Humans teaching the knowledge they've learned is piss easy. Stop projecting your failure onto others.

Dude this isn't reality. You don't go outside so you think everyone on earth nowadays is some sad little soycuck libtard when that just isn't the case. I don't think there's any way to convince you of this if you're just a schizo.

But some propaganda on the internet, said that the entire nation is teaching that math is racist, and the internet is always right

Obstructionism is a good thing. Always has and always will be. Slow governments are weak governments.
The difference is that DeSantis and Abbot poll well inside the party at least.
Edit:
Meeting other kids, direct you to learn what you actually need to learn, teach you the methods to learn more effectively, help any kids who need it at any time.
You forget that I just said your average homeschooled kid is in a large group of homeschooled kids that learn with a variety of parents and external teachers? Also they still have to meet basic state curriculum requirements and there are plenty of resources online and in print to help parents put together a good curriculum.
I'm getting a lot of "only the elites in government are smart and know what is good for us" vibes.

>Meeting other kids
Send your kid to summer camp or something.
>teach you x/help kids
They don't actually do this. Insofar as kids learn anything, they learn them from reading books or watching khan academy.

Yeah exactly, that's why I'm asking you to please get a perspective on the real world instead of the made up one you get from here.

The holocaust is a pretty big historical event in case you weren't aware. If your biggest issue with history in US education is that they don't teach enough of it then I fail to see how letting parents with their own biases and faulty memories teach it instead will help.

Why can't californians build a train without fucking it up? Is it because they have an average iq of 95.5?

OK, but if we're being purely anecdotal, my history classes were nothing like this- in a pretty liberal state, and probably more recently taken than most users. Plus, I was an annoying, edgy little fucker that would have relished any opportunity to slam the course material.
I can't speak for states like California but I'm still involved in my county's school system, and the material is bog standard, almost boring shit. Unless you're in AP classes, you'll get the basic rundown on American history from early explorers to 'today', or more realistically, to around Busch Jr..
Whenever I hear stories about these useless woke classes I feel for the students, but I have a hard time believing they are as common as they're made out to be. I do online tutoring as well as local and haven't ever been asked or seen a question that would lead me to believe a student is in one of these courses. I would more likely point the finger at a handful of bleeding-heart liberal teachers than any overarching scheme or plot to turn kids into lefties.
You're not wrong, could just be my unfortunate anecdote. But I come from a fairly conservative area, so I've always assumed the rest of the country got it worse than I did.

I also agree with @Puff 's sentiment. I got high marks in a technical field, and I can safely say that my public education was effectively a waste of time. I cannot think of a single useful thing I got from public school that wasn't covered in a first semester college course too. So much time and tax money wasted to teach me nothing, some of which was actively harmful to me. It's hard to look past my own experience in this case.

You say that as you put people like McConnell
How fucking dare you pin that on us you little nigger. Not a single person on this site likes McConnell.

Lmao since when is Texas "south?" I mean, southwest maybe, but I have never met anyone who considered Texans to be southerners in the sense that you were conveying in your post, ie Dixie southerners.

McConnell, I'll agree we could do without, we likely just differ on reasons we feel that way. But I'd love to know why you're throwing up DeSantis as an example considering he's a governor of Florida, not a senator or congressman that has effect on national policy.

And hate to break it to you but no Cali is not more important than any other state. That's the point of us being a constitutional Republic, my nigga, we are all part of the same cancerous machine.

Public schools are really only useful for labs, but I don't even know if kids still do those. The socialization thing is bollocks,* schools have an entirely artificial society unlike what you encounter anywhere else in the world. Maybe the academic portions of military basic training and prisons come close. And we somehow managed to socialize children and build civilizations for thousands of years without universal public schools, so in that respect it's not a clear improvement over whatever we were doing before.

Meeting other kids, direct you to learn what you actually need to learn, teach you the methods to learn more effectively, help any kids who need it at any time.
They really helped Salvador Ramos.

* I apologized for the bongism, but it was the only word I could think of to convey just the right mix of "false" and "stupid."
