If this is the best Ralph can do, that's absolutely fucking pathetic. I had an absentee dad that still called every year. He railed on Mundane Matt for years, and here he is just kicking rocks moping that this was a completely unavoidable event that the stars aligned to curse him.

You know, people say Ralph is viewing what he's doing as playing the heel in a wrestling show, which explains his constant shit-talking, careless burning of bridges and increasing episodes of acting out. That makes sense, but he kept calling himself "king of the tabloids" at one point which makes me think he sees himself as Danny DeVito's character in L.A. Confidential:

I have no problem with that and I actually enjoy it. Him dancing outside of The Blaze was great,

The problem is that he wants to have it both ways.

He wants to be an infamous villain but wants everyone to be nice to him.

He wants to be an outlaw but wants the police to solve his problems for him.

He wants to be an unrepentant asshole but demands respect and loyalty.

If he wants to live the persona, then live the persona, but he backs down and flip flops as soon as that persona actually has consequences.

We already know Ralph has some affinity due to his family name and/or heritage due to the Jim v Ralph debacle.
So let's look at this from Ralph's POV.

His firstborn son, with a last name that isn't Ralph. His firstborn son, with a first name Ralph, had no say in it and noticeably hates it. The same child he has yet to meet and will consciously and subconsciously be fed all kinds of negative information about his dad throughout childhood. If there is anything capable of penetrating his unwarranted guntly sized ego and into his wet brain, it's this.

Becoming 18 and questing to find Ethan is a bizarre fantasy that has no basis in reality. His first son is not going to recognize him as his father. Xander will be openly antagonistic to Ralph. The Ralph lineage ends here with disdain from the final descendent to his predecessor.

Could Ralph potentially fix this? Yes. The retard can simply fix things with Faith. He just can't get out of his own way... ever.

Ralph defending you is like if OJ defended Johnny Depp.
Maybe they are totally and completely innocent of any accusation, but having Ralph running defense is the biggest indictment against someone I can imagine . I doubt the Fuentes' thing was on the up and up (still very gay though), but Ralph defending him just tanks him. Ralph just has effect on me: if Ralph defends someone then that person is probably guilty, or at the very least on of the dregs of society by pure association. Guilt by Guntassociation.

Thing is, if Ralph doesn't agree to pay child support - and it looks like he might be looking to attempt that - it could prevent him having access (or worse!).

Yet, he will no longer be able to spin to Xander that he was kept from him when he is flat out refusing to support Faith financially.

Also, let's consider something here - Faith is lucky her parents are well off and willing to support her financially through this. Imagine if this was a young girl who didn't have those options, fled Ralph while pregnant after he got violent and was living hand to mouth with Ralph refusing to pay child support, whilst flying to Vegas and complaining about how hard done to he is. He truly is scum. Hence Cog having him beaten to a pulp was funny and deserved.
