Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

The bigger issue in the hiring process and chains of command. They can’t hire people afraid of getting shot to be police officers. We need more people like that border patrol agent and less like the police in that town for a good police force.
:optimistic: imo.

LE agencies self-select for dumb chodes who will obey orders unquestioningly.

Local PD telling the Border Patrol no we won't let you go in as this was happening. BP was ready to go in no later than 12:30

Entire Uvalde police force should be fired. Disband the department. They can all go be security guards at storage units for 9 bucks an hour, or they can drop dead idc. Texas Rangers take over policing for the town until a new department is created
Rangers can actually fucking kill people, so yeah, do this.

Not all are like that. The police that actually do their job and protect people go unreported a lot of the time by the media because it isn’t sensational. Notice how stories of police, or other people in general, stopping a mass shooter or a rapist don’t make the news most of the time

The newsmedia only reports on them when there's a political motive to be pushed. Shootings like these work since they're known to pull at the heartstrings of parents (especially the moms, women are known to spill their spaghetti quite frequently).
In this case, it seems to be the Democrat party's last attempt at pushing gun control before midterms, also paired with an attempt to remove law enforcement from school child-prisons apparently (wouldn't law enforcement add to the security of prisons?).

American Leftists likely understand a red wave is coming since the old geezer in the white house shot their reputation.

Honest to god Republicans need to pushing that Guns Rights are Mom's Rights

Police said a woman who was lawfully carrying a pistol shot and killed a man who began shooting at a crowd of people Wednesday night in Charleston.

Dennis Butler was killed after allegedly shooting at dozens of people attending a graduation party Wednesday near the Vista View Apartment complex. No injuries were reported from those at the party.

Investigators said Butler was warned about speeding in the area with children present before he left. He later returned with an AR-15-style firearm and began firing into the crowd before he was shot and killed.

“Instead of running from the threat, she engaged with the threat and saved several lives last night,” Charleston Police Department Chief of Detectives Tony Hazelett said.

Officers did not go into detail, but said Butler did have an extensive criminal history.

Hazelett said no charges will be filed against the woman.

I can give you one guess why this story will be memory holed and never mentioned.

Gun rights help make women equal. Prior to guns, many weapons depended more on strength rather than aim. In Medieval English warfare, the longbow was used pretty exclusively by men because they needed incredible strength to make the arrow travel far and with enough weight behind it to actually kill someone. Guns have given women the opportunity to fight off rapists better. Anyone that has interest of protecting women should be in favor of women arming themselves. Pepper spray doesn’t cut it all the time.

The thing about guns is that they represent real equality. Think about this. Behind the barrel of a gun every man woman and child can be equally powerful. It’s that kind of thinking that makes them so dangerous, not necessarily the weapon itself. A spear although simple requires skill to be wielded proficiently enough to make it a sufficiently deadly weapon as does the bow which came after it. However it was the crossbow much like the gun which began to make that particular skill set all the less necessary. And now of course we have our guns, descended from the Chinese fire lance and perhaps the most flawless weapon to have ever been crafted.

It is without a doubt the perfect instrument of death and the great equalizer between men and yet we must remember that it was man who crafted it. The gun cannot fire itself, a finger must pull the trigger. So with that said I suppose I can see the argument that guns make these mass murders much more accessible but on the other hand I agree that if people really want to do it taking away their guns won’t stop them. I believe it is a problem with no real solution.

No one in their right mind will look at this situation and think they need less weapons. If the police won't even bother helping you, even the most pragmatic person will still keep something under the counter just in case.
That’s where I’m at and so are many other people. The twirt having the resources to get the guns is definitely some that should be looked yes, but thus is definitely more of the cops fucked up situation than a guns issue.

NRA convention today.

And some counterprotest with Beto and a lot of niggers and female liberal wokecunts.

Any of you Texans should keep on belittling and telling them Texas liberals to go fuck themselves and be very hostile to them, as they are just retarded Californian liberals under the guise of being "Texans" lol.

You know, I'm starting to think BLM was onto something when they talked about "defunding the police".

The cops used more force against parents trying to go in to save their kids than they used against the fucking shooter.
Well what do you expect? It's not like this was a school board meeting being attacked by parents speaking their minds terrorists!

NRA convention today.

The chat is embarassing

If I were there, I'd flip them off and shout "faggots!" at them, with a Nick Sandmann shit-eating grin.

According to today’s police press conference, a teacher propped open the door at 11:27 am, then the shooter crashed his car in front of the school at 11:28. A teacher appeared next to the door in footage while talking on the phone. The teacher doesn’t close the door. Then the shooter got out with his gun and fired at people in front of the funeral home. A teacher re-emerges on footage at 11:30 on the phone, and a 911 call comes in from a teacher. Door still not closed.

The absolute most charitable interpretation of this is that the teacher left the door open to make it easier to get something from his or her car. Then when the shooting began, he or she forgot about the open door in a panic.

But even then, wouldn’t the teacher be legally liable for something?

I wish I could rate you optimistic

Keep in mind the police station is 1,000 feet away from the school. What in the FUCK happened in the 43 minutes between the first call and the police arriving? This is infuriating. Fuck I'm angry.
Simple, they weren't doing their jobs. Same as what they were doing after they didn't show up.

I know someone who lived in South Texas and he tells me every single government agency, department, etc. in that part of the country is just like the Uvalde police department. Staffed by cowards who will cite legalese and make all sorts of excuses to justify their failure to do their jobs and not be subhuman cockroaches.
