Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

You’re correct about the location of the crash, but he entered the school through the west-facing door on Geraldine Street.

So it wasn't even one of the teachers that wound up dying?! This just gets worse and worse. I'm not going to pretend I don't know how annoying auto-closers are or how hard it is to ignore the call of the siren Nicotine, but fucking hell think about the rules when you bend/break them! Stay within eye-sight of the door you prop, it's only done for yourself. Always unprop the door on re-entry. This is basic security shit when there isn't fucking gunfire going on outside. I understand this is partly due to panic but this is like a driver who lost control throwing their hands up and stomping their feet to handle it. Regardless of what happens afterwards, that is ultimately the failure that lead to this many bodies. If they lived I hope this haunts them.
If you were talking about a military base, or a prison, or an embassy, I would agree with you.

Just looking at the purported timeline and trying to see where, other than just driving around, the ISD officer and the cops who showed up within a minute of the first 911 call by the teacher could have come from so quickly.... I did this shit with Christchurch, too.

EDIT:
Anyone got Ramos's grand mother's address? I'm assuming it's north and west of the school.

Did anyone else spot this while scrolling through that article?

"Still, the elder Ramos insisted his son 'was a good person,' saying he dropped out of high school because he was bullied over his clothes."

Once upon a time I would have assumed that meant the kid wore super stereotypical goth/emo shit, or that they were wearing the tattered hand-me-downs in a nice area. But considering that the whole town is supposedly more low-income...
Idk, if someone is wearing clothing that stands out enough they're getting bullied of it, is it bad that I assume that means dude in a skirt?

God, I wish there wasn't such a black hole of info around this dude. It's as bad as that repeat rapist skirtboy in Landoun County or whatever; even if this dude dropped out of high school, how have no former classmates popped up saying 'yeah he was a freakshow, here's the full story'. No coworkers? None of his retarded snapchat buddies getting torn a new one by their parents?
How in the fuck is there just nothing?
Another thing that activates the almonds is just how good a fucking shot this asshole was. Did he have training? I heard reports that when he wasn't just wantonly shooting he was scoring perfect headshots almost every time.

Sure you can play a shit ton of videogames and get decent enough aim, but this stinks to high heaven.

It just keep getting worse, at the rate we are going, we’re gonna be under hell and deep into the shadow realm.
Actual fucking journalism. Amazing.

Glad I haven't eaten breakfast yet. These will make you puke.

Check this out. This motherfucker needs to leave town, not join the city council.

This sack of shit plays a starring role here, too.

This cocksucker doesn't want to go on the field for our national anthem. Fuck him, fully. Just another reason I am glad to eschew all pro sports. You can let the team owners know at partnerships@sfgiants.com .

Sorry for the double post but what the fuck is this glow shit .

GOOD JOB GUYS. LOSING OUR LIBERTY'S TOTALLLY SAVES LIVES. REALLY.
To be fair, they were posting on public platforms, nothing different than anyone else looking at someone's public profile. If you want a quiet not-being-observed life stay off social media. And don't complain when we literally do the exact same thing on this site.

Thanks.

So, I'm guessing he killed grandma, was wound up like a retard manlet, headed down the street ENE, headed south, couldn't drive better than a chinaman when wanting to make the corner as he had the accelerator floored and hit the ditch instead of making it into the field or parking lot.

I like trying to figure out the physical forensics of the environmental movements in a mass shooting. He could have also headed WSW and taken the south route and then taken ENE towards the school. In a way, that might be more probable, because he could have picked up more speed and could have been shooting for the parking lot, but that would be even worse driving.

EDIT:
Anyone got Ramos's grand mother's address? I'm assuming it's north and west of the school.

When he shot his grandmother in the face, it went through her cheek and out under her ear. She was able to call 911 which is, I'm assuming, why the police had a head start on him.

I'm also assuming that's why the local news was referring to him as a "murder suspect" at the beginning of all this. That was another stupid, confusing thing that they decided to just throw out there.

eta: his grandmother lived

To not double post, I found this article online that interviewed his cousin, an adult female. She said that Ramos asked her son, his second cousin, who is/was a third grader at the elementary school what time the kids were dismissed for lunch.

The cousin and her young son lived with the grandparents as well. His cousin said that Ramos didn't know how to drive (haha), which explains why he crashed his grandmother's truck, I guess.

Mulling over this, and seeing the Cable News Network's profile on the guy (to summarize, he had no support from dad, mum would rather string herself out than care for her kid along with no community support, that's combined with constant vicious bullying), it appears as if the shooter was a fatherless kid that was treated like he was the second coming of "el diablo".
The golden rule of society is to not do unto others as you wouldn't want done unto you. All the locals of Uvalde gave him was contempt or ignorance. If you give a kid hell, all the way into adulthood, what do you think will come out?

Columbine, Virginia Tech, the Santa-Monica fratricide, Sparks Middle School. Anything seem familiar between those shootings and this one?
There's also an argument to be made about pop culture being extremely drab and raising up single mothers at the expense of vilifying fathers.
Like what Denzel washington says: it always starts at home.

Why is it not surprising that the same people who were all like "defund the police" a year ago are now bitching?

Apparently this is the badass border patrol agent that rushed into the building and took out the shooter.

He even got struck in the head while in a shootout with the gunman.
This guy projects massive gigachad energy.

Another expert is here (this time with problem glasses) to tell you how to take action on gun control
