Serious answer is that it is related to the whole Coronavirus stuff (just like his twitter name) where at the start there was a quite bizarre happening where members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus in Korea started spreading the virus via some weird preaching and travelling around the world shenanigans. Jim thought it was funny because that church was some weird cult and its name sounded almost like Shinji from Evangelion and he made a bunch of Shinji/Korean cult/Coronavirus jokes on few streams.
